Just 10km from Gobabis Co ING from windhoek side. Lots of campsites to choose from with your own private ablution which gets cleaned every day by the lovely Veronica. The owners Danie and Kathy are very friendly and accommodate where they can. Besides the camping stops there are many rooms to choose from. There is a lovely pool to cool down in, a self service honesty bar. They serve a awesome breakfast every morning. Every morning we got coffee served to us at our campsite on the house. The peacocks, chickens, goats, sheep and let's not forget Zulla and Bulla the camp dogs all roam around free, so do pack extra bread in cause the chickens and tarentale will definitely cone ask for a feed. We stopped for 2 nights and ended staying 4 nights. Gobabis has a lovely spar where you can stock up on all your needs. I highly recommend this place. Their tariffs are very reasonable aswell

Excellent campsite with your own private ablution (shower, toilet, sink, washing up area). Nice and grassy spots to camp. Excellent restaurant and bar with nice wine selection. They bring coffee and rusks to your campsite in the morning, what a great and unexpected treat!

We had one night stopped over and will be back! Flat, spacious camp site with power and water, a wonderful, very private, newly built ablution unit thoughtfully equipped with hand towel, and soap, even extra blanket. The owner came round to check we were comfortable. Thank you for a special stay.

I stayed here on a quick trip out from Windhoek - the campsite is just off the main road from the Botswana border to Windhoek and is easily accessible.
There are only about 5 campsites, all well spread out and with plenty of space. The swimming pool looked good and.the restaurant has a good reputation although I didn't try it (next time....).
The cost was VERY reasonable with the cherry on the cake being hot coffee and toast served with a smile.first.thing in the morning at the campsite!

This was a very neat camp. The ablution facilities was clean and well laid out with each site having it's own ablution facility. We were received in friendly manner and checked in effortlessly. I will use this camp again if i travel through Gobabis

We camped for a week at Xain Quaz - this has to be the best camp we have stayed at in 3 years of travelling Europe and Africa. Spotless private ablutions - grass - shade and even free coffee in the morning. excellent WiFi and Power with gallons of Hot Hot Water. The newley built chalets are also extremely impressive with everything available. restaurant is great and the bar well stocked - the friendly atmosphere of this camp is evident in the fact that you can help yourself at the bar and just write in the book what you had if staff are away. We will be back that I can assure you

We camped here for one night and loved every minute of our stay.
Staff was amazing and the service was more than we expected.

Each campsite has a lawn with its own ablutions and braai. Power is provided with outside lights.
Each bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet and was very clean.

The best surprise was that we got served coffee and rusks early in the morning.
Truly worth the stay and will be back.

We stayed at Xain Quaz at the start of our Namibian holiday. Due to some issues at the border posts we were very late getting to Gobabis, but they waited for us.
Danie and his wife was so welcoming and friendly. After a lang day of driving Danie’s jokes and the lovely food was a blessing. We stayed in the camping area, and the private ablutions were great.

This is an excellent campsite, in our top 3 of the 15 we visited on our recent trip around Namibia and Botswana. We stayed for one night on our way from Namibia to Botswana.

The private ablutions are fabulous, I'd be happy to have this as my shower room at home!
The kitchen area is excellent, sinks, hot and cold water, electric points and bin.
There is a braai and fire wood was provided. We had a shelter/shaded area too.
The lady owner was very friendly and most welcoming. Other staff we met were cheerful and friendly too.
The grounds are well cared for and it's plain to see that a lot of thought, care and attention has been put into making this such a wonderful place to stay.
The morning we were leaving it was quite cold, we were busy packing away our vehicle and how wonderful to be brought coffee and rusks.........it's the little things that can make a lasting impression sometimes.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Xain Quaz is an example of how good things can be.

We arrived at sunset (spectacular) a week or so before high season kicks inn. Owner met us personally and in less than an hour whipped up the best Gemsbok fillets on our 4.5 week safari. The salad was superb with a home made dressing, the carrots on the side worthy of a Michellin star. Kids menu disapeared so fast I hardly got to look at it. But rumor had ot it was a sousage with carrots and potato wedges.

Breakfast was equally memorable and amply sprinkeled with the owners personal charm and profesdional staff.

We stopped en route from Maun to Windhoek, but wish we had had time to stay an extra day.

We camped and with three kids the private bathroom with hot shower, toilet, wash basin. Outside there were three sinks for washing up at each site. Private fireplace for campfire/braai. A jewel!

We booked via an agent but if you look on a well known "booking" website you will find a contact link for you to contact the owner. Also you could try sending a message via their Facebook page. It's a great campsite with very helpful friendly owners.
