We camped there for 3 nights just to get away from the city for a break. Normally we head either North or West of Windhoek, but we are now hooked on going East! A 90 minute drive is all it takes, and everything you want from a camp site is right there. A large campsite with shade trees, our own bathroom, electricity, kitchen sink, fireplace with grid, and a light for the evenings. Ina and her team go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, and nothing is too much trouble. For those that like a few home comforts, the restaurant and bar are 200 m away, where the beers are ice cold and the food is fantastic. Big screen TV for sport lovers, swimming pool and lots of wild life. Our only complaint was being woken up on our last morning by noisy cattle right outside our tent. Will definitely being going back there!!!!

Stopped over for two nights to have a rest from driving. Wonderful place! Highly recommend! We camped and had all the facilities we needed. Price was very good value for money. Sat round the pool (which is freezing) and drank cold beers all day. Very relaxed environment with plenty of wildlife to keep you occupied. Would visit again!

After 4 weeks of traveling in which we stayed in various lodges this was a breath of fresh air. What a beautiful place and a well thought layout and interiors. We stayed at the lodge in a ‘chalet’ and that name covers it nicely! A spacious and very well decorated house with a fantastic bedroom, bathroom and living/ kitchenette. Very thoughtful are the EU wall outlets, the spacious kitchen with all accessories and the big fridge/ freezer. The airco/ heater unit is an welcome extra. The main building is indeed a bit ‘cold’ as somebody described (like a boarding school /castle because of its height and lighting) but the warmth of the owners balance that out. The restaurant/ cook was excellent in both dinner and breakfast and overall pricing is fair. The bar is a bit scary if you’re not to fond of stuffed animals but the view is fantastic and the garden / pool area are wonderful to sit, walk and relax. All and all we should most certainly come back!
