La Scogliera is situated at the entry of the small village, Atrani, three hundred meters far from the center of Amalfi, close to the sea. The apartament was recently renovated, furnished with style and equipped with every confort. The property has a spettacular view on the sea and a terrace overlooking the center of Atrani.
In September of this year my husband and I visited the Amalfi Coast. It was our third visit to the area and our third time staying at La Scogliera in Atrani. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. Atrani is a true hidden gem. It is an authentic Italian village and although it has a lovely piazza, some truly fantastic restaurants and a very nice beach you won’t find the streets jammed with tourists. It is a nice haven from busy Amalfi. La Scogliera is perfectly located to be the ideal base for exploring the coast since it is just a short walk to Amalfi, a transport hub for busses and ferries. La Scogliera is perched over the sea and has perhaps the most breathtaking views on the coast. Our room, the blue room, has 2 balconies that look out over the sea. The larger balcony is perfect for breakfast or enjoying a nice glass of wine at the end of the day. Our room was immaculate and so comfortable in every way. The owners, Pino and Pina, are very attentive to the needs of their guests. On the balcony every morning Pino serves cappuccino with a bountiful breakfast which includes Pina’s delicious homemade cakes. I could not write a review of La Scogliera without complimenting the owners, Pino and Pina. This beautiful husband and wife team lovingly care for La Scogliera and are amazing and extremely helpful in every way. Even before we arrived, Pino contacted a driver to pick us up and return us to Naples. Pino has so patiently talked with me in Italian helping me to improve my language skills. We loved spending time with them both. Before you leave you will feel like family. They are what makes La Scogliera so special. It was hard to leave this Paradise! …

It’s hard to put into words how much our stay here meant to us. The Blue Room is as beautiful as all the reviews describe. The main balcony overlooks the sea, and we could have sat there all day watching the boats go by. The room is cozy, and comfortable and filled with small touches that we appreciated – simple things like beautiful little bowls to put things in to stay organized, a small balcony clothes line to dry our swim gear, and wine glasses for an aperitivo on the balcony with the best view in all of Atrani. When you open both balcony doors and gaze out at the views it’s hard to imagine any place on the Amalfi coast being more beautiful. I want to recreate the bathroom’s Mediterranean blue tile color for my own someday just to remind us of this place. We easily accessed the busier Amalfi town and the busses and ferries to most Amalfi coast towns with a short 10-minute walk right out the door, but we came to appreciate Atrani’s authentic and quieter ambiance and looked forward to coming “home”. Even with all the breathtaking views, and the perfect room and location, it was our time with the hosts, Pino and Pina, that we will cherish the most from our stay. They are kind, gracious, warm and patient and by the end of our week they became our dear friends. The jingle of Pino’s breakfast cart in the morning arriving to our room loaded with homemade croissants, fruits, yogurt, Pina’s cake, and cappuccino became our favorite sound in all of Italy. Pino’s warm smile and “Buongiorno” was the perfect beginning to our day. After sightseeing or relaxing on the Atrani beach all day, my husband and I looked forward to sitting with Pino sipping limoncello and laughing and sharing our daily adventures and discoveries. Pino is a wealth of information about this area of the Amalfi coast, and we loved listening to his stories and anecdotes of growing up in Ravello and learning about the small quaint town of Atrani. It was a difficult goodbye for us at the end of our stay, and we cherished every moment with them. We highly recommend La Scogliera Rooms to anyone staying on the Amalfi Coast. …

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in an amazing location. Easily walkable (10 minutes via pedestrian tunnel) to Amalfi town and port, less than 5 minutes to the quaint and less touristy Atrani square and hikeable to Ravello (45 minutes up the mountain). Pino and Pina are exceptional hosts who took care of everything we needed from pre-arrival through departure. They serve a great breakfast on the balcony every morning and are available for whatever their guests need. The room feels safe, secure and cozy. We stayed in the blue room which had 2 balconies and incredible sweeping views of the sea and town. There is also a beach that is steps away, we made good use of it! This is a great ‘home base’ to tour the Amalfi coast - we loved everything about it and can’t wait to visit again!…

Amazing stay in Atrani. We stayed in the corner room last summer and had the best views of the coast. Pino is a wonderful host, he really knows how to make guests feel very welcome. It was like staying with family. Breakfast each morning on the balcony was a highlight, especially Pina's cake. Very well located near swimming beaches. Highly recommended. We stayed in many places during our 3 month trip, and this was the best.

We stayed in the blue room with my wife for 3 nights at the end of March. The blue room was very good, we felt very comfortable. It has a magnificent view overlooking Atrani and 2 balconies overlooking Amalfi. Our host Pino met us at the bus stop on the first day we arrived. Pino was very good, he was a very smiling and sweet man. He brought our breakfast to our room every morning at the time we wanted and we had a very enjoyable breakfast on our balcony with a magnificent view of Atrani. Pino made us feel at home. Many thanks to him and his wife Pina.

So much to love about this place! 1st: Pino and Pina, the owners. Every day after breakfast (served in the dining room at our request, rather than on the balcony), Pino joined us to let us practice our Italian language skills on him; it was the highlight of our trip! He and Pina are such lovely people and we hated to say goodbye after 4 nights. 2nd: breakfast - eggs, cornetti, fruit, yogurt, peach nectar and wonderful coffee. 3rd: location; less than 10 minutes through a pedestrian tunnel to Amalfi where you can pick up a ferry or bus easily. Atrani itself is in a beautiful spot on the coast with a small beach; La Scogliera is right on the curve and the rooms have beautiful views of the sea. 4th: My room (Giallo) had two french doors opening to a large balcony overlooking the sea, and a beautifully tiled bathroom with a great shower. The room also had a little refrigerator and some English language channels on tv! I hope to return some day to see Pino and Pina again; they - and La Scogliera Rooms - are the best!…

We stayed in the Blue room which has the two balconies. It is amazing to wake up and spend the morning on the balcony watching the sunrise and having an amazing breakfast. I wish I could start every day like this and was grateful for the time we had at La Scogliera. Like others have mentioned, the location is ideal to keep you out of the crowds of Amalfi as it is located between Atrani and Amalfi and is a short walk from each town. We did a great hike up to the town of Ravello via Atrani and ate at MiMi's Pizzeria(I got an excellent seafood dish) and hiked back down via Amalfi. Highly recommended you check out Ravello, as it is true what Pino told us, it is the best town in Amalfi to see. At the end of our stay, it was sad to say goodbye to Pino and Pina and hope to see them again sooner than later.…

Charming and cute little hotel. Woke up to amazing views every morning. Breakfast was served in the balcony - very delicious. Atrani is close to Amalfi but much less touristy, which gives you the peace in the busy area. The hosts, Pino and Pina, are friendly and helpful - we enjoyed our stay so much. There are some steps (Pino said 45 !) to the hotel, carrying less suitcases can make it easier, but totally worth the climb!

We stayed for 7 nights with Pino and Pina at their wonderful Bed and breakfast. We enjoyed both the ‘ blue’ and ‘ yellow’ rooms, each offering a beautiful ocean view. The rooms are lovely, comfortable with very good wifi and A/C! Atrani town is perfectly positioned to enjoy the Amalfi coast, with easy ferry service ( from Amalfi pier) up and down the coast or over to Capri. It is an easy 7 min walk ( use the safer and cooler tunnel ) to Amalfi town which is much busier and touristic. We enjoyed each day coming back to the welcome serenity and smiles of our hosts Pino and Pina. The breakfast served each morning is bountiful with freshly made croissants, eggs of choice, fruits, juice and the best cappuccino ( grazie mille Pino😊) A truly magical stay and we will return

You need to stay here. The location… stunning. The amenities… gorgeous. The hosts… incredible. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. Atrani is an absolute gem on the amalfi coast. The surrounding area is accessible to you but you have the experience of a true small Italian coastal town. I’ve never, in all my travel, had more gracious hosts than the owners. I owe my entire experience to them. The breakfast in the morning, lovingly prepare, and coffee made with pride, served on what can only be described as the most idillic patio overlooking a view to die for. And the rooms…. The attention to detail is incredible and they are beyond beautiful. This review is written as a testament of their hard work and my thanks to the experience they provided. Forever grateful…
