From the moment we were welcomed by the lovely Effie until the moment we left we were made to feel welcome, all the staff are so smiley it instantly puts you at ease. The suites are modern ‘very’ clean and comfortable. Located up a slight hill between the lively strip and some excellent restaurant at the top.

We’ve stayed at Esthisis for a week. The staff is nice, welcoming and very helpful! The apartments is clean, spacious and has a nice balcony/terrace where you can watch the sunset. Location is also perfect, only a few minutes walk from platanias square. Highly reccomend this place :)

We stayed here for 2 weeks in the summer and wow what an amazing place. It is run by a lovely family who were so kind and welcoming. They gave us great advice about what to do and where to go around the area. Upon our arrival we had fresh veg, olive oil and juice already in our room and there are some local stores where you could buy more. The apartment was really modern and clean with all the facilities we needed for 5 of us staying there. We had two double rooms downstairs and one single room upstairs. From the kitchen you could walk straight out to the pool which was really handy and and downstairs we had our own private terrace home to some lovely cats. The complex is situated in the old village of Platanias which has loads of traditional tavernas nearby. It is a short walk downhill to the main town where there are lots of bars and life. However I wouldn’t recommend eating down there as the food was quite commercial and not very Greek- stick to the restaurants near the hotel. The beach is about a 10/15 minute walk away, it’s nothing special but did the job. The pool area was really nice, very clean and had comfy sun beds. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay at Esthisis again. …

very nice and hospitality people. the rooms were very clean and neat. very nice swimmingpool. if you need anything, you just ask, and it will be done. friendly welcome at the beginning of our holiday, we stayed there with six people and we booked only 5, but an extra plate, glass, bed and towels was not a problem at all. english spoken

Just back from a two week stay in these lovely apartments. We were met and welcomed by Effie. The apartments are modern, spotlessly clean and most have wonderful views. It usually takes me a few days to relax but we felt at home here from day 1 due to the excellent care we received from everyone, from the owners to the staff who cleaned our rooms. There are thoughtful things provided which we really appreciated like washing up liquid and tea towels. I also liked that there was a spacious bathroom cabinet where we could store things so they didn't clutter up the sink. The apartments are in a quiet location with no traffic noise so all I heard was a rooster that crowed in the morning! I really hope we can come back in the future for another stay. It will be like coming home.

We’re just on our way home from this hotel after a 9 day stay. The staff are wonderful and friendly - They even baked a birthday cake for my partner when they saw his birthday cards on the side. Great location - very central - very easy to get in to the harbour at Chania, plenty of bars and restaurants to walk to. Beautifully clean and well equipped suite. Always a sun lounger available - no one reserved them. Other clientele were very pleasant. If you want a quiet, comfortable base - this is ideal. Will definitely return!

These suites and complex is amazing. The owners are incredibly welcoming and treat you like family - but without invading privacy. This is our second visit over the last 5 years and the suites are as impeccable and clean as they were the first time. In the heart of Platanias really well position for old village and resort. I cannot recommend enough. we stayed a week at the beginning of September and I am sure we will return on a future visit to this part of Crete.

After two stays I am impressed. Big and very clean rooms. Very friendly staff. It still looks brand new at the hotel. Everything you need inside the room. The view is fantastic. It is located up i the hill, so if you need to stay "on" the beach or don't like to walk 3 min from the city centre, this is not a hotel for you. But I will stay at this hotel if I go back to Platanias.

Well, having just arrived back in the UK from a week's stay at Esthisis Suites I have to say we are disappointed that we didn't stay longer. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, our stay exceeded what we were expecting. From our host's to the fantastic hospitality and cleanliness, we were truly impressed ... The facilities in our suite were excellent and without doubt one of the finest I have we have experienced. A special mention to the cleaning ladies who work so hard 7 days a week to keep the facility looking its best, you are amazing ... To Efi and kin, our host's you are lovely people and I hope to meet you again someday ... Thank you for a lovely stay and the lovely departure gift ... We miss you already!!. Summary .... Beautifully appointed suites, everything is here for you to relax and enjoy and just a few minutes walk to all the local amenities including bus stop to the amazing Chania ...
