We were met by our convivial host and had drinks on the veranda. The experience felt colonial and old fashioned which was so charming. Good sizes rooms with all sorts of delightful touches, we loved it. No tv or other distractions contributed to a wonderful stay. Excellent location and a very good restaurant recommended and booked by our host were the icing on a very delicious cake.

Remarkable in every way you look at it and a masterclass in quality and detail at every turn.Rambling old property with a treasure of antiques and memorabilia in every nook and cranny.Exceptionally well furnished and the detail to that effect is amazing.John's other half must have spent a fortune on the curtaining alone.Hidden treasure of a secluded pool and surrounding seating adds to the quality of the place. Breakfast was stunning with the full luxury treatment of hot and cold options together with floral embellishments that just added to the visual quality of the occasion. Mine host John was chatty, genial and full of local history and background.Loved the 'honesty pay' drinks availability in the well stocked bar and the array of cold beers in the fridge. As you may gather I loved the place and if ever in the area again this is a must return if ever there was.
