We booked the self catering accommodation, which is lovely and spacious. The room is well fitted out and clean, and Monica is an excellent hostess - very professional. The room was also serviced over the weekend, which makes a weekend break even more restful. We opted for the cooked breakfast on the balcony too and that was very pleasant.

We had a wonderful trip! The venue is immaculate, the gardens are exquisite. Woken by the song of birds in picturesque surroundings is all the medicine a weary soul needs. There a few attractions in the town but more than enough for nature lovers to be enthralled including hiking trails and a botanical garden. Our hosts were generous and accommodating, service was flawless. We loved every minute of our stay and highly recommend it.

I had a lovely one-night stay at Anchorage Inn. The room was spacious, with everything I needed to cook and enjoy my meal. Special treats were waiting for me which made it extra special. The hosts are accommodating. The guesthouse is also located close to Montagu trail.

traditional farm house room for B&B, lovely comfortable bed. Clean and spotless. regret we did not stay for 2 nights as the area is well worth exploring. Breakfast was excellent with great personal service.

the guesthouse is clean and the rooms are well serviced. unfurtunally, the neighbores 3 german chepard dogs not very quiet and do not made quiet, the neightbore was not to be seen to talk too,special at nights. the host is very friendly and i am sure they must have a lot of trouble with the dogs. breakfast is optional but there a a good caffee close in town.

Lounge extending to a veranda. Large and comfortable bathroom with a nice big shower!
Beautifully and tastefully decorated, very cool and welcoming on a hot day and will be cozy and warm on a cool day.

Very warm welcome. Beautifully presented tasty breakfast on the garden patio. Spacious and well equipped Rondavel apartment, traditional feel with plenty of African nature books too. Easy access to town despite the ongoing roadworks.

We only stayed for one night passing through Montagu, but regretted not staying longer. Monica made us feel very much at home and gave us useful tips for the area. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!
