Had a wonderful stay at Abington Manor. Brilliantly looked after by Prisca and her team- amazing breakfast. The lodge is immaculate with a lovely pool and garden and is perfectly situated for walking to the beach. Richard took us on two great day trips- firstly to Bloubergstrand and then to two vineyards. Fish Hoek is a quaint little seaside town, and Abington Manor is our favorite go to place whenever we are in the area. We had a generous self catering apartment, spotlessly clean and comprehensively kitted out with all amenities (my girls especially loved the fluffy robes!). A nice breakfast was served in the morning, after which we went for a walk on the nearby beach. Thank you for having us, we will gladly be back and we do recommend Abington Manor to anybody planning to explore the Southern Peninsula.

The host was very helpful and the unit was clean and tidy. Location is not beachfront and is amongst other housing. Secure parking and enclosure appreciated. Only negative was the bathroom was downstairs and bedrooms upstairs but was not an issue for us. Thank you for two pleasant nights.

Lovely stay. Very modern Guest House with many thoughtful touches such as honesty fridge for drinks etc. We had booked a room but were given a very spacious self-catering suite which was equipped with just about everything you could think of. If you want family accommodation for 4 this would not disappoint. Lots of communal areas so you do not need to be confined to your room. We didn’t use the pool or the hot tub but they looked very nice. Fab breakfast to set us up for the day. Marcus recommended Harbour House Hotel in Kalk Bay for dinner. High end with amazing views and excellent food. We used Uber both ways for the short journey 80 ZAR each way!

Really amazing guest house! Very beautiful place , breakfast with big choices, and really good position to visit the cape . Lots of interesting cute details as book swap , living room and pool for guests were very clean .

The staff very friendly. The owner very helpful with advises. The place very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast . Near the beach of penguins and cape of good hope. Especially good to visit these places

Took the kids for a weekend to Fish Hoek - Abbington Manor proofed to be an ideal base from which to explore the surroundings. We enjoyed their great breakfast & the kids took a dip in the pool. Our upstairs apartment was very spacious and fully equipped.Thank you for having us!

I will certainly go back to Abington Manor. Spotless rooms, welcoming hosts , friendly, professional staff. Loved the breakfast, a real home feel. Close enough to shops if you need to get something, but fridge was brim full of necessities , with a " honesty box" should you wish to buy something. Few sitting areas to relax in. We were in the upstairs rooms , felt at home. .Jacuzzi was divine after day at beach. Kalk Bay not far although I am not sure if we could walk, especially at night. A hired car would be necessary. Overall , would most certainly go back to Abington Manor.

Stayed there one night. It's such a nice and cozy place to relax. Very comfortable bed. Delicious home cooked breakfast with eggs, rolls, toast, cheese, fresh fruit... Nice owner and staff. Several restaurants in walking distance. Beautiful garden with pool.

The ground floor rooms are very noisy, we stayed in room 7...could hear most conversation in the next room as it had an interconnecting door. Even worst was being woken up at 7ish we the house keeper preparing breakfast. The bedroom door was thin and led straight onto the kitchen/diner. then at 8am other guests started having breakfast, it was like they were at the end of the bed!! No air conditioning nor any fan, fridge and safe are free and in the room. 1st floor bedroom 4, was better still noisy but not as loud. safe in room also a ceiling fan. Fridge space in a communal fridge out side the room. Both rooms where tidied every day but not cleaned, fresh towels available as and when required. Pool was small but adequate to cool off!! Breakfast was plentiful and of good variety, drinks and snacks available using an honesty box to pay for your items. Marcus and Gisela are the perfect hosts, very welcoming.…
