We stayed here for 4 nights, the little self catering apartments are lovely and have everything you need. including clean towels which, a fully eqiupped kitchen with stove, fridge/freezer and all the cutlery you may require. There is also a pool on the property with braai facilities. The property is a stones throw away from the main road as well as the beach, there is also a supermarket right across the road. the owners are lovely people and always happy to help in anyway they can. Fishhoek is nestled between Simons Town and Kalk Bay - both lovely and steeped in history but neither with a beach.. That is where fishhoek comes in, it has a lovely little beach (just be careful and watch the shark signs for when they are in).. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joys and in Fishhoek. For a beautiful scenic ride pay R3 and take the train from Simons Town to Kalk bay..utterly devine scenery.

My family and I spent 11 nights at Joy's, Peter and Brenda are very dedicated to their job, we were spoiled. In fact it was our 2nd visit to this place after 9 years. We had a very comfortable cottage. Thank you Peter and Brenda for your great sense of hospitality, this made our stay enjoyable and memorable for our kids. Peter will always give you tips to enjoy your visits around, while Brenda will help you in your organization. Sure if we come back to Cape Town our stay will be in the peaceful town of Fish Hoek at Joy's B&B. We recommend Joy's B&B

What a lovely family run B&B,you ere made to feel very welcome and the owners were always will to help you find places to go,of if it was good weather for the beach.

What a lovely, warm family atmosphere Peter has created. Beautiful white with soft pink bedding. Clean room, clean kitchen, clean courtyard. Six day holiday was great. Thanks Peter. Louisa Cromhout, Dec 2017

We spent 4 nights here and found the rooms very clean tidy and spacious.
The shower was hot and bathroom very roomy.
Brenda and Peter really go that bit further for you ( thanks for the biltong spice!) are very friendly and knowledgeable on the area.
The only small downside was no cooked breakfast.. But we got that out so no real hardship.
Would go again and if you fancy a base outside the bustle of capetown I would recommend it!
Hopefully see you both again soon :-)

Very pleasant couple running the establishment - most friendly and accommodating. This part of Fish Hoek must once have been attractive but now somewhat dilapidated. Very standard rooms and breakfast was a bit of a let down. The shower is absolutely unacceptable. Luke warm water and no pressure. The worst I have experienced. The whole experience is like re-living the 70's (with below par showers). The rate is good.
