Ray and Sanchia welcomed us upon arrival with genuine hospitality. Their attention to detail was evident in the lovely room they had prepared for us. In fact, Sanchia personally inspected our room before we checked in, ensuring that everything was just perfect.
Our room service was always prompt, and the space was impeccably maintained, looking brand new each day. We especially loved the breathtaking view from our room—truly a highlight of our stay.
Ray’s extensive knowledge of the area proved invaluable. Whether it was directions, restaurant recommendations, or just general tips, his insights made our time there so much easier and more enjoyable.
What stood out most was the level of care Ray and Sanchia provided. They made themselves available to us at all times, whether we needed assistance with something or simply had a question. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were always happy and comfortable.
This was, without a doubt, one of the easiest and most hassle-free week-long stays we've ever experienced.

1 Mountain Rd exceeded all expectations. A beautiful, neat and very clean four bedroom hotel awaits you. Sliding doors from floor to ceiling lead you on to a balcony which overlooks a view that money cannot buy. The entire view comprises of Fish Hoek and the rest of the peninsula. Ocean as far as the eye can see on the one side with mountains on the other. Comfortable bed. Ensuite bathroom with a magnificent shower. Breakfast was a voucher to be used at the local restaurant which was amazing value for money. I highly recommend a stay at this B & B. Wonderful hosts too!

Not only are the views breathtaking, the hosts also thought of every little detail, making us feel welcome and ensuring that we were comfortable. It felt like home away from home with a comfy bed, king size pillows, electric blankets, a full hairdryer, gowns and slippers, and so much more. They went above and beyond, such as making me a cappuccino while I was working late at night. When my son left his old boys school tie in the cupboard, Ray came looking for us after check-out to give it back to him. Special people and a hidden gem, I would highly recommend staying at 1 Mountain View.

Absolutely perfect in every way! First class accommodations in purpose-built, stunning new guest house. Meticulous attention to detail in immaculate, spacious, well appointed rooms with a stunning view of the ocean and a balcony. Hosts go out of their way to ensure that you have everything you need for a comfortable stay including a supply of snacks and drinks (soda, wine and beer) available for purchase in the room. It’s impossible to overstate how wonderful this place is, we just hope that we get an opportunity to go back!

Absolutely superb accommodation with the most stunning views over Fish Hoek, Cape Town. From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a special experience. The warm welcome, the beautifully appointed rooms, the sea views, the attention to details ... all of it was beyond our expectations. The rooms are well worth the expense, and all have balconies with sweeping views of the bay and mountains. Too stunning.
This is a new gem we found in Fish Hoek - the location is amazing and the whole place is beautiful and luxurious.
I will recommend to book this hotel to anyone visiting SA and make sure that you stay a couple of days, the location is perfect for exploring the vast area of Cape Town and is a perfect location to come back to and relax.
We especially liked the flexibility that the Beachcomber breakfast provided – we could sleep in and never miss breakfast.
The hosts were superb, and gave us our own space without feeling intrusive. Cant wait to come back again .

I had a wonderful stay at 1 Mountain Road, Cape Town! The breathtaking view from the accommodation made it a perfect choice for a peaceful getaway. The boutique is situated high up on a hill, providing a stunning overlook of the gorgeous beach. Ray and Sanchia, were incredibly accommodating and enriched our stay with their wealth of useful information about the area. The rooms are clean, lots of snacks to choose from!
While the location is walkable to local amenities. I would advise renting a car for added convenience.

I can not rate this accommodation highly enough. Spotlessly clean luxurious room with the most amazing views across the bay. The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to provide information on local restaurants etc. I will definitely be back for another stay.
