This place is a dorm for backpackers and NOT a place to relax. The whole area was dirty, including the rooms which were full of bugs, which they refused to clean up as they claimed it is an environmentally-friendly area! Food is sh*t, pool water wasn’t see-through full of bugs and leaves, zero view, full of mosquitoes after 5 ( I have at least 20 mosquito bites). There were only three items on the menu. The car that they transport you in has NO air-conditioning and is basically a truck and the roads are so bumpy it takes you half an hour to get to the beach. NOT ONE staff speaks English (only Brazilian) and only 2 staff were actually “working” there but the service was sh*t. The ONLY thing that you can do on the island is go on an island tour but you need camping boots for it! When we asked why the hotel was so dirty, they said they only clean ONCE a week because they have no water! It was the WORST experience of my life (considering that I’ve traveled all over the world) and I wouldn’t EVER IN MY LIFE go back there and it’s NOT worth the money they ask. This hotel deserves no stars, it has no service and is a place for CAMPERS! DO NOT EVER GO, but if you do, I suggest going to Meravilha.…
Disgusting, horrific experience. Worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. Don’t believe anything you see on the internet. We expected to have a relaxing stay, but it was actually a complete s*** hole: full of mosquitoes, bugs in our room and bed, 0 view, dirty rooms, food was s***, staff very ignorant, pool dirty, and so many more negative things to say. We asked staff why the room was so dirty and they said it was because they needed to use as little water as possible so they cleaned it ONLY ONCE A WEEK. Disgusting. To go to the beach, we needed to bring all our supplies with us and there was no transport whatsoever. We needed to walk in the muddy, dirty, rocky, unfinished roads for a long time carrying everything. Certainly not worth how much we pay for this. And then the staff told us that there are no toilets in the beach, so people s*** in the water. Unacceptable.…
Our family of 4 (2 boys 7 and 10yrs) stayed at this marvellous place for 4 nights in december. I have never seen a place with such an attentive and service minded straff. They Are ready with the key before You know You Are Home yourself:) the roms Are spacious, comfortable and clean. They orffered us an upgrade the minute We came, and were very understanding and patient. The surroundings Are like a tropical garden, with fruits and flowers. Evening time lots of candles etc light up the poolside. We had a little misunderstanding the last day- and the straff (manager Bruno) went to sick lengts to make up for it. He Even sent a bottle of wine over to our Next hotel. Carolina in the Reception is so genuinely interested in her work and guests- and really work to help organize and book tours- as well as sharing her knowledge. The food and restaurant: the best food We had in the Island. All meals. (After this hotel We went to pousada Morena in Fernando, DONT go there by any means- its the oposite of Teju) …
Pousada Teju-Acu is just a the best place to stay in Fernando de Noronha! Awesome services and hospitality. I felt like at home! no doubt next travel to Noronha I will stay at Pousada Teju- Acu again. Raymundo Peixoto
we were a group of 12 people traveling Brazil and Fernando was our last destination. We paid a nice amount of money and expected fair acomodation. the rooms for 4 are the same as the rooms for 2, we were promised a room with a pool view , (non received). the staff with two exceptions were therible, the prices for buggies changed every time(they may not know that we talk between ourselfs) Overall impression is that people working there were unhappy. we spend a perfect time on island and would come back, but never in Teju Acu, we had a lunch in pousada maravilha-expencive but service and food= 5 stars. I should mention that the staff have a very kind conversation with brazilian girls group, while the only girl in the restaurant have a stone face mask every time anybody aproach her. Poor service for the money you paid compared with other pousadas on the island.…
