A comfortable lodging
Fortaleza is a comfortable lodging in Fernando de Noronha. They have a wonderful team work, and the room are comfortable with ar conditioning, television and wifi. The distance from Conceição Beach and Cachorro Beach is around 15 minutes walking and you are near good restaurants in Downtown Vl doa Remédios.

Clean quiet central to all activities
If you are not from Brasil keep in mind that a pousada here is a room period (+ a bath of course) We stayed here based on earlier contributors and we are from Brasil so there was no unexpected downside Clean room, air worked great (and quiet) but bathroom shower badly in need of upgrade Haven't figured out why king-size bed when a queen would have been fine and then there would have been more luggage storage (no big inconvenience here) Breakfast great plus any other little choices you want were available also.... late afternoon snacks appreciated Personnel help was way over expectations Neighborhood just great but all interior roads here a mess...... go figure

Beautiful and welcoming
We were welcomed by Danielle, who also took care of our reservation. From the first moment we felt welcome and at home. Danielle, Michelle and Sara were incredibly kind and took care of everything we needed during the five nights we spetn there, including hiring a Buggy which was really hard as the island was fully booked,The room was cosy and always kept clean, breakfast is varied and well served (you can order anything you want, eggs, tapioca, waffles, etc) and the "five o'clock tea" is served from 17 to 19 and is nice when you come back from a long day at the beautiful beaches of Noronha. Wifi worked very well. The pousada is well located only a few minutes walk from the main square (well, everything is really close by in Noronha, especially if you have a buggy) We highly recommend this Pousada!…

Great place to stay on the island
Four of us stayed at the pousada for 4 nights and that was a great stay! The owners are very nice and helpful, even despite the fact that nobody spoke English at the hotel (as well as mostly on the island), we found the way to understand each other (basic command of Spanish and Italian helped a lot!) and the owners helped us with the buggy and the snorkling equipment, as well as with all the other requests (restaurants recommendations, etc). The property is very well maintained, well conditioned, clean and nicely decorated. It's well located in the center of the island within walking distance to the best beaches for swimming. Great breakfast. On the departure the owner gave us some small presents, which was very very nice :) And the price for the room was very competitive (taking into account the fact that all the pousadas are very overpriced)! So highly recommended!…
