This place is so amazing that it’s even impossible to describe it in a review. It deserves a poem, a book, a movie. If I could only give it 10 stars!.. This village-inspired masseria is very conveniently located. It’s close to the beautiful towns of Gallipoli, Nardo, Ugento, Lecce, and other Apulian towns and villages. The beaches are 5 minutes away and Borgo provides free shuttle. The grounds are beautiful, very well maintained, and worth Instagram pictures in every corner. Swimming pool with the bar and resort-feeling ambiance is the place to be any time of the day. Our room, Gardenia was pretty specious, lovely and thoughtfully decorated, equipped with all needed amenities and reliable A/C (not a sure thing in Italy). It also had nice private veranda. The breakfast which is included in your stay is delicious: fresh fruits, homemade pastries, eggs, ham, cheese, warm bread, juices, and amazing coffees. Borgo also serves lunch and dinner which you need to reserve in advance. All that unforgettable experience of staying at Borgo Rosa Terra would be impossible without their staff. Vera and her team – girls at reception, bar and cafeteria people, pool squad, drivers, everyone! are so kind, warm, and helpful that you feel yourself at home and royally treated at the same time. Vera treats every guest as her personal friend or her family member. I would definitely recommend staying at Borgo Rossa Terra to anyone visiting Puglia. Cannot wait to return there myself.

Just a few days stay. Found this by coincidence. What a great and well organised hotel. A fantastic pool and a good restaurant with reasonable prices. The food (vegetables) was from their own farm - fresher than fresh. A smart set up in a lovely style. The staff (Angelica) welcomed us and it started with a cup of coffee. Our room was nice and equipped with all needed equipment like a refrigerator, air condition, flat screen etc. Rooms were large and clean. The showers (2) were good. As I got sick and had to stay in bed the staff was very helpful and took care in a fantastic way. Willing to get medicines (in town), tea etc. It was no problem to check out later against a very small fee. Well done Rosso Terra!!! This is a place I could go back to and stay to relax for a week or so. There is a free shuttle bus to the Lido (their own) in Gallipoli. A place I can recommend. The friendliness and professional staff is more than good. As I am very “economical” with my verdicts on hotels and food but this place my full 5 stars. Go and enjoy the hospitality of this resort

Arriving late in the evening around 11.30pm. Angelica was waiting for us with a big smile and a very friendly attitude. They kept the kitchen/restaurant open for us to grab a small bite. Fantastic arrival. It's a very nice location and a luxury resort although they need to repair some things. Some details need some more attention. Great pool, beach service, much privacy and very very friendly people. A perfect stay for at least one week in Apulia. Close to the beautiful city of Gallipoli. 30 minutes from Lecce. The hospitality was fantastic. Thanks to Angelica and the others from the restaurant. 👍

After years & years of holidays in Italy to finally land in Puglia is like a dream come true. And then to have the luck to chance upon Loris & his Masserie...we visited both Masseria Vittoria on the east & Masseria Rosso Terra on the west coast. Gorgeous properties, very different: but warm Italian hospitality in both gives you the impression of being more a valued friend than a paying guest. Food to die for, pool to die for, glorious spacious rooms. Ancient cities, beaches & a countryside brimming with olives and vines.

For a place trying to market itself as high end, we have experienced way too many shortcomings during the week spent: - lack/poor communication - promises to fix issues never kept - lack of transparency - many details in the actual facility are really not adequate. I.e. Nice idea to have an outdoor gym by the pool, but seriously how can you put there only old machines half broken from the 90's? The good things like the awesome pool and the shuttle service to the beach are unfortunately too little to justify the price.
