A beautiful, clean and very well located place. We were coming back from Botswana to Johannesburg Airport, we were overnight on the road, we had no Reservation and we were given an amazing cottage at a more than reasonable price. They gave us all kinds of facilities like checking out somewhat later than they have as a rule.
Highly recommended and very grateful for the treatment we have received.

+1
Well appointed private cottages, luscious garden, friendly staff, good food. Cottages are each furnished with a designers eye to detail and comfort. Wifi. Ideal for a getaway or stop over to waterberg. Don't miss the Black Mamba African art shop or a bush walk to the river.

We had the best night there.
So lovely gardens, pool, rooms, ... Breakfast was amazing. Andre is a great host. We are looking to go back when we are in that region. Very safe and relaxing.

On my first trip to South Africa, I had the good fortune to draw Zeederberg Cottages as my base for 10 days. The winter in Waterberg is a great season to enjoy the beauty of the area. My time at Zeederberg was punctuated with attention to detail and consummate good service. From breakfast delivered to my room to laundry services, I felt like my comfort was the first priority of the staff. There is no pretentiousness at Zeederberg, which is a plus for most travelers. The garden setting for the cottages contributes to a comfortable environment. As owners, Shelley and James Zeederberg project an easy and approachable manner that makes all guests feel welcome. When, not if, I return to South Africa, I will make sure to return to Zeederberg Cottages. Great location combined with wonderful service.

Last visit to Zeederbergs was more delightful than ever. The new managers - Allen and Tracey - have introduced a new menu and the food is vastly improved from standard stuff to high quality cuisine. they'll also do special requests if you give them notice.
Always a pleasure to visit this place .....but the new menu makes it even better.

We, a family of 10, had a lovely stay here. The rooms are very comfortable, some of them very big, and the hosts were great. So was breakfast. The restaurant in town to go for dinner is the new O'Bistrot, by the way.

Staff were very friendly; room was clean and comfy, but facilities limited and expensive.
I wanted to camp, but this wasn’t allowed so I took a non-self catering room. The problem was there was no in-house catering.
The cost was ZAR500, just for the bed; no breakfast! When I compared this to the previous night in Botswana, which is supposed to be more expensive than SA - I got dinner bed and breakfast for about the same amount - I was not impressed.
The swimming pool was excellent though!

I stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer! My accommodation was beautifully appointed in true African chic style. The owner was friendly and gracious and the overall prices included an amazing and scrumptious breakfast and was very affordable. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful, and you may also take a short bush walk in the morning where you may find quite an impressive list of bush-veld birds and tree species, if those interest you.I would recommend this venue to anyone who is exploring the Waterberg or en-route to another destination in SA. Many thanks and I hope to come through sometime soon again!

Once again Zeederbergs' Cottages gave us a fantastic stay. Hospitable, professional service and great food [and an affordable rate].
If you have special dietary requirements they will sort that out for you. Whether on holiday or on business this is a place that is well worth visiting.
