This was my second stay at Ant's Nest and it was every bit as brilliant as the first! The staff were once again amazing, nothing is too much trouble, the guides are knowledgeable, everyone is friendly and good fun. Kobi and his kitchen team make the best food. The horses are all great, well looked after and they have a...

A party of 16 friends descended on Ants Hill for a 5 day riding safari. The location is stunning, the accommodation superb and all the staff cannot do enough to ensure your holiday is truly one to remember. The safari guides are extremely knowledgeable on all the Fauna and Flora found on the estate. A wide range of horses were...

We last visited 20 years ago, when Ant's Nest was barely a set of twigs. Since then, they have transformed both it and Ant's Hill into one of the most enticing, relaxed, calm and superbly, stunningly beautiful places we have ever visited. And yet they manage to cater for every guest's individual needs. Having stayed at another Reserve in the...

The staff is amazingly friendly, welcoming and accommodating and tailored every day to our personal interests. We couldn't have asked for more. Our girls (three below the age of 12), took full advantage of all the activities on offer......... horse riding twice a day on unbelievably reliable ponies, swimming the horses, game drives, game walks, early morning bush runs and...

This place is ideal to reconnect with nature and to disconnect from the world. It is simply heaven on earth. The rooms are perfectly integrated into the environment, luxurious in a humble way... almost treehouses with all the commodities. We loved the outdoor shower in our room, Hideaway. You feel like coming home after each horse ride, mainly because you...

Our family of 4 (2 boys 7 & 8 years old) stayed in Ant's Nest the beginning of April for 3 nights. The reception we got upon arrival was an indication of the amazing hospitality that we were going to experience for our entire stay - nothing was too much trouble. The friendly, happy staff really made our time special...

Our Stay at Ant’s Nest was definitely the Highlight of our three weeks vacation to South Africa. The opportunities to find such a sincere and personal atmosphere are rare these days; and the chances to have such unique experiences are as well. The lodge is located in a wonderful private Game Reserve. The bedrooms are situated either in the main...

This was a totally amazing visit. We stayed in Ant's Nest with our three children (12, 10 and 8) and were incredulous on arriving to see half a dozen rhinos snoozing just in front of the swimming pool area. The accommodation and food were really excellent. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful and clearly have a real passion for...

After a number of tough weeks on the mine, we were able to get to Ant Hill for 2 nights. We had the "Hideaway" one bedroom suite with out own pool and it was magic. The view was spectacular and the food int he dining room area was perfect. The bathtub was to die for overlooking the amazing view and...
