This was my 6th visit to Ant’s Nest and I’m sure it won’t be my last. It truly is a magical and fabulous place to visit. The staff are outstanding, without exception. The guides are wonderful - so well informed and interesting; I learn masses every time I come. The chefs create delicious and imaginative food. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. But what makes Ants Nest (and I’m sure it’s the same at Ant’s Hill) so exceptional, is that they always go the extra mile to ensure everyone is having a great time. This includes accommodating everyone’s dietary needs ( special veggie/vegan choices, cooking meat how guests ask etc); making sure everyone feels comfortable and happy with their horse; providing interesting activities for non-riders; arranging a different location for lunch, dinner and sundowner. The horses are exceptional - fit and well schooled and there is a horse suitable for all levels of experience, fitness and size and the horses obviously love their job! I can’t recommend this wonderful lodge, and the fantastic team who work there, highly enough.

Brilliant stay in a beautiful lodge and reserve, food was great and gameviewing superb- the girls didn’t miss a single horse ride - the rides were very professionally led on very well trained mounts with excellent tack, getting really up close and personal to all the game apart from predators. Although riders very experienced, novice riders are catered for too

Everything about our trip at Ant’s Hill was amazing. The nicest humans working on the property, most beautiful accommodations, delicious meals, and thoughtful activities that are always focused on the needs/wants of every single guest. We arrived with basically no horse riding experience and have been fully converted to confident riders thanks to their amazing horses and patient staff. We had the best week here and will miss it until we plan our return. Could not recommend Ant‘s Hill (or nest) more.

Cannot fault. Accommodation is beautiful and well kept, the chefs are amazing. Horses well trained and looked after. I've never been so close to giraffe, zebra and even Rhino or other wild animals, but safely. Staff are great and you are treated as a friend, not a tourist conveyor belt like some places. You can be a solo traveler or family, suits everything.👍

I had a wonderful week at Ant's Nest - so much thought has gone into making the experience special for guests, catering for all riding abilities and offering flexibility on how guests want to spend each day. I'll never forget my time there, the horses, the staff and fellow guests. See you next year!

I had a wonderful holiday at Ants Nest. The place and people are so welcoming. It was my second trip to Ants and even better than the first. I was given a superb horse to ride and really enjoyed the guiding. The staff are so professional but also relaxed and very good at making you feel at home (nothing was too much trouble). Great massage too! Would definitely recommend it as a place to go on holiday, whether you are travelling solo or with friends.

We had the most incredible few days at Ants Hill! It was an experience like no other and I can not thank the staff enough for making it a truly memorable stay. As complete novice horse riders, we were guided and looked after with such care and attention, we thoroughly enjoyed the riding and ended up riding really well in the end! From the accoommodation, to the food, to the sunset drinks, to meeting amazing people from around the globe to every last detail - it was simply exceptional. Thanks Fred, Seth, Anzelle, Koos, Moses and everyone in between for having us - we will be back soon!

The whole Ant's Hill team are amazing, incredibly dedicated and knowledgeable. Being able to get up close to the animals (especially the giraffe and zebras) on horseback was fantastic and even as total beginners we felt safe on the well trained horses. A number of us also tried the walking safari and it was great to be able to learn about tracking and stretch our legs rather than just doing safari drives. The accommodation was comfortable and the kitchen staff catered for gluten free requirements with care and attention. The pool provided welcome entertainment for the kids during the day. Our party ranged from 11 - 75 years and we all loved it.
