Dinkweng is a 3 to 4 hour drive from Johannesburg. It's an easy drive, especially if you time it right and miss the rush hour commuters trying to get home to Pretoria from Johannesburg. The drive is easy and the road is good. Until Modimolle. Then you're forced to slow down a bit, although the road is still good. The...

We had an absolutely wonderful few days at Dinkweng Safari Camp. It is easy to get to, and the staff met us at the gate to drive us through the lodge, in this beautiful setting. It feels like the bush goes on forever. It is remote and tranquil. The house we stayed in was lovely, spacious and well appointed. We...

What a lovely place Dinkweng is! The lodge with its own swimming pool is very spacious and every room is decorated with style. We had a very relaxing weekend, swimming, braaing, and enjoying the view. To see animals like njalas, giraffe, black and gold wildebeest (yes gold), impalas, zebra, riet buck just to name a few, were a big treat....
