Excellent stay with shady campsite. Wonderful bike rides and some game spotting. Super friendly hosts and helpful. Great meal. Main buildings and bike shop almost complete and will be very attractive when finished. Ablutions a bit rustic, but are being redone. Will definitely be back.

We were welcomed to Summerplace by Elizabeth and Josh on the Friday. The property is big and Bushwillow is a dream away from the city. My partner and I enjoyed the manual bath tub the most, that was a great experience. The game drive was beautiful and we organised massages at the Bike Village. We will definitely come back again. My partner had the most relaxing birthday!

We camped, lots of trees to choose from. The ablution was very neat, the shower stalls can be a little bit bigger for changing clothes. It looked like an oasis next to the swimming pool, just cold enough to cool down. We had a lovely dinner on Saturday, really favorable. Love the atmosphere. The mountain bike trails is very well marked, you cannot end up on the wrong trail. Will definingly visit again but not camping in the summer, to hot, will be trying out the bungalows next. Thank you Summerplace for the warm welcome and very friendly staff.

Really loved the riding here, which has a trail for everyone. The peacefulness and the wildlife we saw was amazing and we will definitely be back. Everything was very clean and our hosts incredibly friendly and welcoming.

A group of family and friends stayed in York View at Summerplace for 3 nights. We loved the accommodation and the mountain biking trails on the property far exceeded our expectations - some of the best riding we've ever done. We're definitely coming back here again.

We had just the most amazing visit to Summer Place. The trails were fabulous for mountain biking and walking - there were Sable, Zebra, Roan etc. everywhere and tons of birds. The house was stunning and had everything in that we needed. Modern, clean and spacious. We watched the stars at night in the wood-fired jacuzzi. We will definitely be back!

We have finally found a place that ticks all the boxes. Our little cottage called Seringa was perfect! We took our mountain bikes with on referral of a friend and we were not disappointed at all. The trails are excellent and well kept. I can honestly say that it will be hard to find another little gem like this. Thank you Dave and Simone

Stayed at Summerplace to ride the enduro trails. Camping facilities are great in a wonderful setting amongst the trees. The enduro trails that Dave has sculpted are fantastic! He has put in an incredible amount of work. Highly recommended.

Summerplace makes for a perfect weekend destination. It is around 3-3.5 hours from Joburg on hood roads all the way to the reserve gate. The hosts, Simone and Dave are very hospitable and welcoming. Each unit is very thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and you feel like you truly have your own space. The MTB tracks are exceptionally well laid out and cater to a range of difficulties (although I think some need a new grading). Even if you aren’t a cyclist there is plenty to keep you occupied with loads of birds and game to see. If that fails, Summerplace is just a wonderful place to relax and soak in the joy that is the Waterberg.
