Back to our little slice of heaven to catch up with friends.......... most might call them staff but to us they are friends having know most for many years. The camp is lovely as usual with a new mess tent and the waterhole with hide next to it attracts more wildlife all the time. Words cannot describe how beautiful it is there.

Just returned from my second trip to the Porini Camps, first time in Rhino Camp. As in all Porini Camps, the staff goes above and beyond in ensuring that we had a unique and amazing stay. Everything from the food and hospitality in the camp to the wildlife viewing was fantastic. We had the chance to go horse riding with the two last Northern White Rhinos in the world - an absolutely exceptional experience that I strongly recommend to all experienced riders.

We visited three Porini Camps while in Kenya and highly recommend all of them; Porini Rhino Camp was our favorite. The team working at the Rhino camp went above and beyond in providing us with a brilliant safari. The wildlife viewing at this camp is phenomenal. All of our guides were fantastic; and Nicklaus was the cream of the crop. We stayed three nights at the camp and easily could have stayed longer - we had a unique experience every time we went out on a game drive; just an outstanding area!

My husband and I spent three nights here in July. We loved everything about this camp. We scored by getting the tent in front of the waterhole, but everyone who stays here will have an up close view due to the blind built into the ground right next to the water hole. Your eyes are at ground level inside the blind and there is a daily parade of elephants, zebra, warthogs and water buffalo. Our guides, John and Shadruck were fantastic and we enjoyed every moment with them. They are so knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, it's like taking a field trip with a professor! We spotted a pride of lions munching away on half a zebra, rhinos, zebra, gazelle (both Grant and Thompson) giraffe and elephants. The camp also serves excellent food! Huge breakfasts, lunch and dinners! You won't go hungry! Did I mention they bring coffee to your room when they come to wake you up. I loved that! And for the second game drive of the day, you stop at a scenic view and they pull out the cocktails and snacks...happy hour indeed! The accommodations are very comfortable and the safari shower felt really good! I highly recommend anyone stay at the Porini Rhino Camp. It will exceed your expectations!

Great place to experience an adventure packed safari where we saw an amazing assortment of animals in their natural environment. The camp was very meticulate in all their services including the rooms, meals and game drives. Daniel, the manager, Sharack (driver) and John (spotter) were excellent in every way, they delivered top notch service. The food was excellent, the game drives were amazing with unbelievable up close and personal experiences with lions, rhinos, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and many babies. We highly recommend this camp.
