My wife and I were part of a tour group and stayed 2 nights at the Canyon Lodge inside Yellowstone National Park. The dinners were very good; I had the Bratwurst and my wife had pork chops. Prices were very reasonable--you get a starter, appetizer,...More
Where to begin? Rooms were clean and rustic, I liked the recycling program. But you had to PAY for wifi yet the only reception we got was in the reception area in another building or at the restaurant area. Speaking of which, the restaurant was...More

Assuming you are staying at Canyon Village, there is a short path (maybe 5 min walk) from the lodges over to the main part of Canyon Lodge area where the restaurants are. The grill at the far end serves beer/wine. Also a general store in the next building where you can probably purchase and carry back to your room.
We had a premium lodge room at Canyon (we also stayed in a suite at Old Faithful Inn). The fridge was a bit larger than form size, about 24 inch tall. Adequate to store a fair amount. There were also ice machines available.
