Very clean, friendly helpful staff, and great location. The owners obviously take great pride in their hotel and it shows. The hotel is well maintained and very comfortable. The amenities in the room were higher quality than other Super 8s we have stayed in.

I found this establishment via a simple search for a hotel in Hot Springs, SD and I could not have been happier! I am a disabled Vet, with a dog, and this hotel was just lovely. Pros: (1) I had two, above & beyond-type, requests and both were taken care of immediately. (2) "Breakfast Included" means a REAL breakfast. (3) The room was sparkling clean, with an excellent presentation. (4) The location is immediately next to a wonderful museum and active paleontological site, "The Mammoth Site" which was an unforeseen bonus. (5) The area is quiet, and I mean the type of quiet where the lack of sound is almost eerie. (6) Take your choice of beverage outside at both dawn and dusk, then watch the family of deer wander around in the open fields and nearby forested area. (7) The hotel is in the process of being updated; however, the new owners are working very hard to make appropriate changes without interfering with the comfort of their guests. I will be returning to SD in the near future and this is going to be my default 'GOTO' hotel for my future trips.…

This Super 8 is under new management and is being upgraded. The place was very clean, new bedding and visible maintenance upgrades and I expect even more positive changes in the months ahead. The managers were great, attentive, conscientious, capable and friendly!
