We booked Hotel Renew only for one night as a layover and had a wonderful experience. We arrived early to the hotel and was able to drop off our luggage till standard check in time. Mary at the reception was working alone and was nice enough to take care of us!! From storing our luggage to shifting reservations around to accommodate being next door neighbors with our friends! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and executed all our needy requests promptly! She's amazing! Hotel is in a prime location, close by to convenient stores, restaurants and the beach. Hotel even offers beach chairs and towels for guest to bring to the beach, that is a plus. The room and bed was very comfortable since we were only staying for the 1 night. Will book again if we decide to come back in the near future!…

Its our first time in Hawaii and Charlie has assisted us from the time we arrived in Hotel renew until we checked out! The location is perfect! Near the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff are all polite and they made our hotel room clean and tidy daily! Security is good as well as even we leave valuable stuff in our room, none were gone missing! I will definitely come back! Went on a family trip had a greate time at this hotel. It might not be extravagant as many other hotels but Hotel Renew is welcoming and has great walking distance of all the shopping centers and beaches! No need to bring towels or swimming gear they got it all!!

Perhaps the best three things are the comfort of the bed (I find it hard to sleep in hotels, but here I slept well), the location (it is less than a block to the beach) and the beach gear (towels, beach chairs, the giant pineapple float, snorkel gear). Of course, the staff are also quite friendly too. While there is no pool, you are that close to the beach that it's no big deal. Room cleanliness was great and there are ABC Stores for whatever you need all over Waikiki, and one right next to the hotel.
