Hotel very close to I-90, malls, and BJs (with the cheapest gas we would see for the rest of our trip).
No breakfast, but coffeemaker, fridge and microwave, and AC for white noise.
Nice enough staff, room was clean.
Kinda scary pulling up but in the end everything worked out just fine
Wonderful shower!!! Easy parking area and surrounded by restaurants and stores close by yet area is away from busy Buffalo and traffic. Close to Bills stadium and erie county community college as well.
The gas station conveniently next to the motel was much appreciated.
Their front desk staff is exceptional. There was an electrical issue in our first room. They easily moved us a couple doors down- taking care to come check on the issue immediately. Very nice people...excellent customer care.
The rooms were clean and everything worked, and were definitely better than a lot of comparably priced motels I've stayed at.
Did I mention the staff? The maintenance guy/cleaning staff/handy man/front desk backup never stopped moving for the 48 hours we were there - he was flipping rooms, snowblowing, shovelling walkways, helping push cars our, and keeping us informed on what was going on the entire time we were there.
A group of people walked a mile or so through 5' of snow from the interstate as they'd been stuck on a bus for 28 hours - instead of asking questions or worrying about profit, the wonderful lady at the front desk just pointed them at the hot coffee (which she more or less spent every waking minute making more of) and gathered up a care package for them to take back to the folks still trapped on the bus.
It's a chain hotel with a family-owned feel - I can't say enough good about the people who imbued a sense of community and togetherness into what could have been a miserable experience. I'll likely stay here again for the sake of nostalgia. Thank you!!!!!!

"Ask for rooms on Thruway side, as the truck parking lot is on the Lake side. Could not hear Thruway drone -- a plus."Read full review
