We were in town for medical reasons. This hotel is very near to the medical facility. A staff member kindly drove us over to the surgery entrance the morning of the surgery since it was super early in the morning. All of the remaining times I walked through the hospital since the main entrance is across the street from the hotel. The hospital (Buffalo General) is very large so there is a distance from a patient room to the outside and a fairly short walk to get across the street. The staff at the hotel was always very kind and helpful. The facility was clean, as was our room. The restaurant is closed at this point due to COVID. We knew this ahead of time and brought a cooler bag to store small items in the room’s fridge. There was a small microwave and a coffee maker in the room. Staff did offer that there was a morning grab-and-go type of breakfast included during certain hours in the restaurant off the lobby. You can also eat at the restaurant’s tables for breakfast too. Staff did point out at check-in that food deliveries can be received at the hotel or their driver can take you to a downtown restaurant. Housekeeping is on a set schedule of only certain days in the week. This was no problem for us. We don’t need the sheets changed every night and can pick up after ourselves. Extra towels are available upon request, but it was no problem to throw the damp towel over the shower rod to dry overnight until housekeeping came through on their next round. We would definitely stay here again if in the area for medical or other reasons. Good job Wyndham Garden Buffalo staff!!

My stay at the Wyndham Garden Buffalo Downtown hotel was amazing. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Cleanliness is a top priority and is demonstrated through the spotless common areas and the additional touches in the rooms (hand sanitizers, wipes for the remotes). Randy at the front desk was so welcoming, accommodating, and full of tips and overall helpful demeanor, totally set the stage for a positive happy experience. Customer service was top notch!

In Buffalo for very busy NCAA weekend we were able to secure a room last minute as our downtown hotel reservation canceled due to a fire. Night Manager Randy very helpful in getting us a room and the service, friendliness and professionalism of everyone in the hotel went well beyond expectations. Hotel employees Karly, Jean, Bethany and Amir especially great with restaurant and attraction recommendations. Location less than 2 miles from downtown, safe location, clean rooms and the great staff service would make this spot a slam dunk for a return booking.

Clean spacious rooms! Mini fridge and microwave in room along with large desk with swivel chair, dresser with 6 drawers, nightstand, lounge chair. Friendly staff and nice complimentary grab and go breakfast every morning. Valet parking available for $18/day which is totally worth it because there is no nearby parking otherwise. Close to everything and very quiet when in room, easy for early bedtime for kiddos. Clean towels and comfy beds. Good water pressure in shower. Safe in closet with ironing board and full length mirror.

This property offers a clean, comfortable and friendly stay. I've stayed here when it was the DoubleTree and again as Wyndham Garden. It has become my hotel of choice when attending concerts in downtown Buffalo and booked this property again for my next Buffalo stay. The hotel shuttle is a nice bonus!

The reason for our visit unfortunately was not for pleasure, but to be close to Buffalo General Hospital for my father to have major vascular surgery. The location was perfect, it was next to Roswell Park and Buffalo General Hospitals. From check in to check out the customer service was exceptional. There were multiple situations were the staff went above and beyond there call of duty to help us feel comfortable during this very stressful time. The first night before my dad's surgery, the staff at the desk recommended a great restaurant, and arranged for a shuttle to take us there and pick us up. The following day, my mom and I were in the hospital from 8 am to 10 pm, and the staff helped us find a late night restaurant to order food from, a shuttle to take us there, and wait for us to pick up food. The night prior to my dad's possible discharge, the staff at the front desk helped us arrange for possible longer stay in case complications occurred. They If also discovered that we did not get the special discount for hospital guests, due to making reservations through central scheduling. They were kind enough to honor that discount for us resulting in significant savings. Finally at check out, they were kind enough to hold our luggage in a secure room and keep our vehicle in valet parking until my dad's unknown discharge time. The compassion, kindness, and professionalism displayed by the staff at this location was beyond belief. My family and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to downtown Buffalo.

Wyndham Garden Buffalo Downtown is a former Hilton DoubleTree seven floor hotel and conference center located proximal to John R. Oishei Children's Hospital, Buffalo General Medical Center, and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Hotel is within walking distance of all respective medical and research facilities. Please be advised that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the interior walkway connecting the hotel to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center was closed at the time of my stay. View from the hotel and grounds is of front or rear of nearby medical and research centers. Hotel staff are knowledgeable. Lobby appeared clean despite the persistent snow, slush, and salt from outside. Guest rooms had dated, but functional, amenities and the room and bathroom were generally clean. Guest room and bathroom fixtures were a bit worn but functional. Corridor fixtures and floor carpets were worn. Fitness center featured modern, clean, and functional equipment. No on-site parking but valet service is available. Free breakfast buffet available with average quality fare with very limited selection. Few take-out and restaurant options within close proximity of hotel; many other guests relied upon food delivery services at the time of my stay. Vehicle traffic noise is prevalent as the hotel is proximal to busy medical and research centers. Overall, average experience. The hotel is an ideal place for students, researchers, or families of patients to stay while being treated at the nearby medical centers. I would consider returning to this hotel when conducting business at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or Kaleida Health facilities in the future.

The Wyndham Garden Hotel in Buffalo is a great place to stay! Due to Covid, many hotels have let their housekeeping standards fall but the Wyndham housekeeping standards have remained high and this hotel was exceptionally clean! The Front Desk staff were all extremely professional, friendly and welcoming! A special acknowledgement to Jean who greeted me by name everytime she saw me! I stayed in a Queen suite and it was perfect! Lots of privacy with a separate living room and kitchen area that included a full size refrigerator. The suite also included 2 televisions and 3 separate a/c and heating units which were very quiet. I can't wait to go back!

We recently stayed at the Wyndham for my hubby's birthday and we LOVED it there! The front desk called within a few minutes of us going upstairs just to ask if everything was to our satisfaction with our room, which has NEVER happened at any other hotel we've ever stayed at. The room was squeaky clean, the beds were phenomenally comfy, and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting (or even living in) the city!!

The staff were curtious and very helpfull as well as knowedgeable to neighboring venues. The room was very clean and had a well stocked bathroom including bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner within it's shower , while the tub had safety strips on the bottom preventing falls. The shuttle was very convenient as well as appreciated.

Hello; we offer a shuttle for all KeyBank events but we cannot go as far as KeyBank as it would be difficult for us to get back to assist another guest. We go to Main and Chippewa where there is an above ground train (free) that will take you to KeyBank. We will pick you up afterwards at main and Chippewa.
Hello; the hotel offers valet parking. It is $20.00 (plus tax), per car, per day with unlimited in and out access. This can be added to the room bill. Thank you.
We also have a complimentary shuttle that runs in the immediate downtown area.
Hello; unfortunately, no we do not have a shuttle that goes to the Bills stadium. That is located approx. 14 miles from the hotel and a bit too far for us. Most of our guests will take their own vehicle or uber to the game.
Our shuttle runs in the immediate downtown area however.
There are more places to choose from in the Buffalo area.
