My wife and 2 daughters spent the night here on a shopping trip. This used to be a 5/5 hotel under the Millenium banner but not now. Although it was generally clean there were a lot of shortcomings. In the bathroom, the sink was cracked and the bathtub had a big damaged area. The tile around the bathtub had badly cracked grout. A shelf was mounted above the toilet, preventing the seat lid to go all the way and stay up. There were only 2 towels and when my wife went to the front desk to get more she waited more than 15 minutes before somebody came out of the office. The staff member had a very lackadaisical attitude and grudgingly gave her one towel. The clerk on duty at checkout made up for it with a very pleasant attitude. Everything considered we won't return. There are several better hotels for comparable priced in the immediate area.

It's so sad what has happened to this once wonderful hotel. It is just a mess. Our travelling companion had to change rooms twice because the beds had been slept in and the bathrooms were dirty. When she asked for extra towels they brought her two bath mats and about 4 wash cloths. No hangers in our room and one towel. Carpets were horrible. In the morning the coffee 'station' in the lobby was a foul mess and the urn was empty. There was just one person in the restaurant who was cooking and serving, so sad. We waited about 20 minutes just to be seated with no employee in sight. I will never stay there again and hope they do something to improve this hotel.

This hotel is very run down pics online look good but the hotel is very dirty and not well kept. We arrived 5 minutes before check in and were told the room was still dirty after a short wait we finally got to the room and we only had 2 towels... OK np called down to the front and they said they would let housekeeping know 3 hours later still no towels. Called again and they said they would send someone right away 5 minutes they showed up with towels once I opened them up I noticed they sent 2 floors mats I found the gentlemen and let him know and he advised they ran out of towels and that's all they had. Went to the pool for a swim no towels there either. Front desk women was unpleasant and not very helpful. Overall wouldn't stay here again the only good thing about it is that it's close to the mall but wouldn't recommend coming back. All doors caked with finger prints and filth would figure since covid the cleanliness would be top notch unfortunately its filthy throughout. Extremely dusty just overall feels scummy for the price we paid would expect much better quality. Bathroom had mold and tiles were falling apart

We came with a hockey tournament. It was a stay-to-play option for our team. There were reservations to stay in this hotel from the team but being a disciplined parent I stayed where the rest of the team was staying. Immediately it became apparent that customer service is not what this hotel is about. Breakfast was so poorly served that most of the guests were leaving to eat elsewhere although breakfast was included. There was no coffee, no plates, servers were empty at 9 a.m. although breakfast supposed to last until 10 a.m. Sink in our room had cracks, water was not draining, there was broken faucet in the bathtub. But to culminate our experience, criminals broke into my absolutely empty car in the hotel's parking lot during the night by crashing rear window in February in Buffalo!!! During check in I inquired if area is safe and was reassured that it is very safe and that parking lot is under video surveillance and constant monitoring. When I reported incidence to the hotel staff there was a great degree of indifference and it turned out that there is no real monitoring, no one could find security or manager. It would not help regardless but luck of concern for their customers and complete absence of security in a troublesome area making me to write this review to warn others. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Over the years we’ve loved to stay at this property, staying 2-3 times a year. A reasonably short drive from Toronto we love the courtyard pool area and the proximity to the Walden Galleria. We’ve suggested this property as a great place to stay. Unfortunately this property is now a memory of what once was. The service is dismal, understaffed, poorly trained in guest services. Things happen in properties, sometimes a room issue may require changing rooms. This seems to be done with great reluctance, they don’t understand the importance of conflict resolution and customer retention. It’s almost as if someone or company recently bought this property with zero hotel experience, knowledge or doesn’t care. It’s a shame because this was a awesome place especially for a winter staycation.

Park, sleep, fly details not accurately transmitted, had to regive all the information at check in. Clerk was writing it on paper. Tried to overcharge me by 50$, they said it was a "clerical error". Thankful I recognized the price they were charging was too high and looked up on my phone to confirm. They willingly refunded the money but this took another 15 minutes. Room was dirty, including carpet, walls and furniture, bathroom falling apart, stains everywhere. We wouldn't even shower there. Only thing that looked clean was the bed, but I have had a rash 10+ days ever since sleeping in that bed. When we came back on return flight, called hotel and there was no shuttle driver, we had to take a taxi and the hotel paid the driver (the driver ran a red light, went too fast, and drove into the mall through the exit). Spend another 20$-30$ for something clean, convenient and safe.

Maid service was terrible. When I went to ask why the room was not cleaned I was asked by the front desk worker if I expected the room to be made up every day. Well yes. We were then given extra supplies and towels and the next day the maid took them back and threw out my shower cap. My husband found a bug in the bed and when we went to complain we were asked to describe the bug and when we did so we were told it was a “good” bug. There was mold in the bathroom and a mess of wires near the bed and the phone didn’t work and 3 of the 4 bedside lights didn’t work either. I could go on and on. I never write reviews but feel compelled to write one here. My family and extended family have always loved coming here when it was the Millenium. It was never anything fancy, but the pool area was great, rooms were clean, restaurant to eat at, friendly staff. Now… not so much. My family and I came (needing about 10 rooms). We booked months ago. Arriving at 4pm, almost none of them were ready. They only had one housekeeper and one person at the front desk. The rooms were not clean. One family found fast food containers in the closet. I don’t blame the housekeeper. They were just extremely understaffed. The restaurant is only open on weekends which was never made clear before we booked. They front staff was blaming the cleaning staff and a hockey tournament from weeks ago that trashed the rooms. I’d personally blame management and understaffing. I will say- The maintenance man was very helpful when the lights went out around the gazebo area. He came and changed bulbs and was very friendly. I hope this is just growing pains with the changes, because we have always loved coming here.

Came up to Buffalo to see the solar eclipse and booked this hotel a few months in advance. We booked a double bed room with a baloncy that looks into the indoor courtyard/pool area.
The room could use some help from maintenance since a piece of the wallpaper was gone and the phones in the room need an upgrade. The breakfast was decent/standard.
The staff of this hotel are the star of the show, they were always friendly, informative and attentive from front desk, to the breakfast staff and housekeeping making sure we were comfortable and had everythingwe needed. A special shoutout to Taylor and Orlando at the front desk who made our stay effortless. I wish I remembered everyone's name who helped us.

All of the staff were lovely, however our stay was disappointing. Our bathroom had no shower curtain (needed to call and ask for one, replacement came ripped), the breakfast was subpar despite advertising a much better one, there is no arcade on premises (pictures show one with lots of games) and the pool area was unclean even at 7 am in the morning. This hotel has potential but it's a joke that we needed to pay a $100 deposit for a mediocre hotel. I'll be skipping this hotel the next time I drive to Buffalo.
