I've been to a number of Embassy Suites throughout the country, so I have an idea what to expect. This location was different than the others. For starters, it's valet parking *only.* The valet staff is friendly, quick, and polite. In the morning when I was leaving, Felix even brought my car up and parked it in one of the the few spots topside available to him while I got my bags. Thank you Felix. Made leaving easier! A shout out to Erica too for being such a pleasant person. And there was no luggage cart available when I arrived, so Nick volunteered to help me get my luggage to my room. Very friendly too. The breakfast was better than the usual "free" breakfast at most places. There was even a chef available to fix omelets to your preferences, and a staff member gladly changed the TV channel so I could watch the news and weather. One expects an Embassy Suites to be quiet, *especially* for what seemed to be such an upscale location, and *especially* for the high prices charged. My room was $355.61 Hilton Honors or senior rate, plus an additional $25 valet parking fee. But...around 9:00-9:30 p.m., I heard dogs barking in a room next to me. The response I got from the front desk was "that's what dogs do," but I politely explained that at an Embassy Suites I found it unusual I was hearing anything at all. She agreed, and "would look into it." By 10:00 p.m., I didn't hear them anymore. Also, but not brought to anyone's attention, I heard people talking and loud thumping in the room above me. Unacceptable for an embassy Suites facility. To me at least, it seems that "corners were cut" in construction, so noise traveled more. I seldom hear noise in Hampton Inns, or Best Westerns, so why would I hear noise here at a supposed "upgrade" place? The location was good. The views were good. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was impeccable.

This was my first stay at Embassy Suites, Buffalo. I found the hotel to be clean in public spaces as well as in my suite. The staff (valet, front desk, breakfast area) were all courteous and helpful. I never had to wait for a greeting or response to a question or request. I stayed in a suite with my elderly mother, my husband and my young grandson. We all felt very comfortable in our rooms and enjoyed being located in a row of three rooms with other family members. The buffet breakfast was much nicer, with a much wider variety, than you usually experience at a hotel. The dietary preferences and needs of our entire party were met with multiple options. The only negative was that the swimming pool was not operational during our stay. We knew it was unavailable in advance, so while it was a disappointment, it wasn’t a surprise. The valet service was great and went well as we parked and got the car several times in order to take items to a wedding venue. The hotel was in a great location and the views from our 7th floor rooms were stunning! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Buffalo area. It cost a bit more but in this case I felt as though we got what we paid for.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites Buffalo for three nights and found it to be spacious, comfortable, and with delightful food options, but cutting a few corners.
In terms of strengths, each guest room is a two bedroom suite complete with a living area and pull-out couch. The dining room table appeared to be a desk with a middle drawer and the wet bar made it easy to make coffee. The living room and bedroom each have their own TV and the bedroom door can be closed to give additional guests their own space in the living room.
The breakfast was everything you'd expect from a hotel hot breakfast with waffles, delightful warm cinnamon rolls. delicious seasoned home fries, several hot options, and a good variety of beverages. Likewise, I appreciated the afternoon reception. During my stay, the main restaurant was closed for construction, so the reception was held in the breakfast area and didn't have too many other people. Each guest could get two Budweiser drafts, glasses of wine, or cocktails. There were also fresh and packaged snacks, hummus, chips and salsa, pasta salad, and crudite. If you're feeling frugal, you could totally make a dinner out of it. The bartenders were always cheerful and friendly. Finally, as a houseplant enthusiast, I appreciated all the greenery in the lobby and even saw the horticulturalist working to keep everything looking great in the last morning of my stay.
So what wasn't the greatest? The biggest was the lack of housekeeping. A sticker on the bathroom mirror stated that housekeeping would occur every 5th day but could be requested. However, when I asked at the front desk, I was only able to receive additional towels and toiletries. This was unfortuate because it meant that I didn't get any more tea or coffee and came within a couple squares of running out of toilet paper without a spare roll anywhere in the room. Finally, the previous guest had bought a new pair of pants for their stay in Buffalo and had left the tags and plastic string from them on the floor. This made me wonder what other areas had been cleared less thoroughly. Plus, no daily housekeeping meant not having the bed freshly made for each evening and this, to me, is one of the great joys of a hotel. I know many hotels cut back on this as a COVID precaution, but by late 2022 it's clearly just a cost cutting scheme that isn't acceptable given what they're charging for a room.
Additionally, the indoor pool that looked great had a note that it was closed for the entire month due to a leak. While things do break, it was sad to see another one of the great joys of a hotel stay made unavailable during my stay.

This hotel is on my list of never stay here again. I am HH member with stats. Booked the room I wanted for 3 nights. Checked in on the app the night before and picked a room. Did not get the room I picked when I got to the hotel! Got charged a different rate every night ! Spoke to the front desk at check out ( manager never available) it was hopeless! The valet parking is $25 a night but if you give the guys $10 they don’t charge you. Found that out when I had a family member visit. The breakfast every morning was filled with local families since no one checks if you belong in the hotel. The pillowcases were filthy the room was extremely dated and quite dirty. The Allergy Free Pure Guest Room was a joke if you have allergy free rooms don’t use feather pillows.

We had a several rooms booked for a family gathering and none of us had a good experience. One room found stains on the bedsheets and called in to have this fixed -- the response was that they don't have enough staff. So new sheets were delivered and they had to change it themselves. None of us had enough toiletries placed in the bathroom, and one room had none. The response to that call? There are no more bath soaps or toiletry. My husband went down the next day and asked for toiletries and he was given a regular sized bar of caress soap?! Found in some drawer. We had three room keys and we had to go downstairs on three different occasions because NONE worked. I assume it was a door issue but the front desk seemed non-plussed by our great discomfort. The pool was closed and the kids got to watch the Hampton inn across the street which had an active pool area :( If I could rate this worse than terrible I would. Given my love of embassy suites I am shocked that we all had such a bad experience. The cost was typical Embassy Suites, but what we got was low motel rate level.

Stayed here with our hockey team for a Buffalo tournament. Our experience was a mixed bag of bad and good.
The bad: our room smelled like someone smoked it in and then the “housekeeping” just sprayed a bunch of chemicals to cover the smell. We kept our door open all day to air it out, but I crawled into bed at night she felt like I was inhaling an ash tray! Gross!! There were red stains on the carpet (like Gatorade or juice stains). The floors were dirty, the couch was ripped and stained (not sure what the white stains were and don’t want to know!). The toilet runs unless you jiggle the handle in just the right way. Room 416 needs a major overhaul!!
What’s up with the tiny pillows?? The pillows in the bed are square the size of throw pillows. Maintenance cart left in hall on 4th floor.
Also bad: no self park! There is a public garage about a block and a half away, but I wouldn’t feel safe walking there after dark! The only option is valet and as someone who isn’t comfortable with valet, I would decline to stay here again for that reason alone.
The great: Erica at the front desk. I had a totally useless staff member check me in, she was next to him and answered all my questions- very friendly. When we went to bed at 10pm and felt ad though we were eating an ash tray, I called the front desk and asked to be moved. Erica not only helped me to get another room, but came up and gave us the key and got us a room in the same floor for ease of moving. She had a smile on her face and was so nice…. If they couldn’t move us, I’m sure we would have slept in our car somewhere!
The good: the kids ran in the hall and had a great time without getting yelled at (during normal day hours- they were sleeping during quiet hours). Rooms were big and our team could hang out in one room. Friendly bartenders!
Overall: disgusting first room!, bad parking options, friendly staff and fun experience for the kids. Would not stay here again.

Very nice hotel. The rooms were spacious we had a one bedroom suite. There were only a few minor issues. The bathroom didn’t appear to have a fan. And the shade let in light right at the wall and you couldn’t completely block it out. The complimentary breakfast was nice which included an omelet station and very attentive attendant keeping everything clean. Just be aware because you are in the city parking requires a valet for a fixed price.

we got a flat tire on our rented car an hour and a half away from buffalo, when they were finally about to send help I gave a call to this hotel to find out if they had room for 5 people, they guaranteed me that they would keep us a room for a modest sum of 400 euros for 5 hours, I also called back shortly before leaving to make sure it was available and it was confirmed. once we got there the receptionist who had a name like tahlia, told us that there was no reservation in my name and there were no rooms available, very unkindly inviting us to leave(at that point she was together with her colleague who looked like Santa Claus, description for make it clear who I'm talking about, I don't remember the name). they tell us that there is a hotel next door and that they will certainly have the place, note that at that point it is 6 in the morning. the hotel was related to theirs so that once we left, that other hotel didn't even let us into the lobby (it will also have its own review). lack of professionalism, kindness and knowing how to deal with the total customer, something like this would never have happened in Europe. luckily, however, we found an Uber XL that managed to take us to Niagara Falls where we had our hotel booked and we also saved ourselves 400 euros .

once again i had a very enjoyable week in my old hometown of Buffalo NY. Embassy suites is my go to place to stay and they did not disappoint. Due to staff shortage i was not able to get into my requested room right at 4 as the previous occupant had left late but it was only about a half hour and the room was ready. I was a little nervous about how well the room was going to be cleaned in such a short time, but it was ideal. I checked everything because of some of the negative reviews i had read. The bathroom was spotless, sheets were fresh and floor was spotless. Did not find a single issue. There were plenty of toiletries available. I normally request the same room each time i visit but due to the increase in rates i was forced to drop it for a slightly smaller room which was more than adequate. As usual the hotel staff was superb and that goes for the housekeeping staff as well. I requested some extra towels and within 20 minutes they were delivered to my room. They do need to replace the mattress, they have seen better days. Also the sofa beds need replacing also but that is something corporate needs to address. Overall the Embassy is one of the better hotels to stay as they make things very comfortable and you do not hear a lot of noise which makes it very easy to get a good nights rest. My biggest complaint is the cost for parking, $25.00 a day on top of the premium rates of their rooms just feels excessive when your there for a week. Would be nice if there was a lower rate for extended stays. In closing i want to say that i disagree strongly with those few negative reviews. Almost forgot...in every room i have been in, the bottom drawer in the dresser, once you put any clothes in it, it will not stay closed. Why is that...lol

Travel for the three ion my group called for an overnight in Downtown Buffalo, and the Embassy Suites fit our bill, for sure. From the friendly front desk people, to the valets, to the food service staff, everyone was on their game, efficient and pleasant without fail.
The suite that we occupied was perhaps a little tired, but everything was in working order, tv cable channels were varied, great water pressure in the bathroom, and the housekeeping was good.
Buffet was copious, the omelette chef was pleasant and prepared a delicious one, indeed.
Location was great, walking distance to some great restaurants and the light rail made it a perfect spot for what we needed.
The rate for what was delivered made it an outstanding value for the price charged.

It’s definitely valet only and whether someone there is capable and licensed to drive a motorcycle is most likely going to be a gamble of who is working the valet role, not just when you arrive but also when you ask to leave. I liked that hotel a lot but I wouldn’t choose it if I was traveling by motorcycle.
the breakfast includes all of the basics, scrambled eggs, home fries and a different selection of breakfast meats daily, the omelet station prepares omelets to order with a large selection of ingredients to chose from, they will also do fried eggs per order..nice selection of toast, muffins, English muffins and bagels along with cereals and various beverages. Regardless of your tastes you should be able to find something to satisfy your hunger
I thought the breakfast was pretty good. There were lots of options, but it wasn't always refreshed often enough so you had to wait for some things. The staff there was very helpful. There was a hot breakfast station that made omelets fresh for you, fruit, cereal, waffles, yogurt, danishes and beverages.
There are more places to choose from in the Buffalo area.
