This historic hotel is built in and around a gorgeous old railway station. Very clean room, wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff, convenient location right off the highway. The only downside is that there were no drawers for storage -- just hard-to-get-at shelving in the safe.

This a beautiful hotel built inside an old train station! The staff were very friendly and professional. Room was spacious clean and comfortable. Trax on site is a great place for a quick bite and a good drink. My favorite thing I loved the most was the stain glass tunnel when looking down from upper floors in the hallway!! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

I picked the Radisson because it stated on its website, " Traveling with your furry friend? bring to our pet friendly hotel" No fee stated anywhere on the website. When I checked in they charged me $70 above my room rate!!!! So much for a pet friendly hotel!!!! $70 was price gauging. they said it was for cleaning the room...do they not clean the room anyway??

I booked this hotel for a two night stay because of its historic situation, not because of the negative reviews. The public rooms are impressive and the (partial) glass ceiling in the lobby is a work of art. But when we checked in, the wife said no thanks to our first room and we moved to another room. It was much like a cost-effective motel room. And there was no assistance from staff with the luggage. But it had a nice view of Scranton (whatever that's worth). I discovered on checkout that we had to pay $5 a day for parking even though we were hotel guests. And since the front parking lot was full we had to park in the back where the road was full of potholes. Breakfast was excellent but was not included in the room. I reckon that this place needs some investment money to be all that it could be. So sad.

For the life of me I don’t understand any of the positive reviews. I work for a major airline and have stayed in some of the worst airport hotels you can imagine this hotel ranks right up there with them. The room was obviously not cleaned properly as the closet contained the Sandals of a prior guest! There was a hair yes a hair on my pillow! I went out to the cleaning staff with the said pillow and was given a new pillow case. The worst was the fact that there was 2 bottles of complimentary water for guests in the room and One of the bottles had be opened and half gone!! And this is all during Covid. Cleanliness and sanitary I don’t think so. Then around midnight we could have very clearly a conversation going on outside our room. We assumed it was other hotel guests. Then we heard doors slam I got up to look and it was actually the cleaning staff cleaning rooms at midnight!! With no regard for sleeping guests. I can believe they had the nerve to charge us for this dump. This was a halfway stopping point on family vacation, we chose Scranton because my daughter is a huge office fan. Well my advice is stay anywhere else.
