I had booked my reservation a couple days prior and when I arrived and called we were greeted within minutes! We soon realized that I accidentally booked it on the wrong day (came on a Friday and it was booked for that following Monday). Nevertheless, we worked with Marci and she assured us we can make it work, no problem! We were soo grateful as this was a little anniversary getaway for us. Luckily we were still able to get the styled room that we had originally had in our reservation. Upon entering the room, we were shown the different areas of the house and Marci was friendly and informative. The same went for explaining breakfast times and what our options were. The key pad to get into the main entrance and our room was really easy to use. The first thing we noticed in the room was the 80 in Tv and the king sized bed. The room was nice, clean, and cozy. The walk in shower had great water temperature and pressure. We soon left afterwards to head to dinner and a movie at MGM which was only 5 minutes away. With our room located at the end of the hall on the second floor we had another staircase which made it easier to come in at night. In the morning, breakfast was from 8:30-9:30 leading plenty of time for us to get up and head downstairs. Marci reminded us of the options and we didn’t wait long. There was coffee and different drink choices. This is where we got to know Marci better with effortless conversation. Overall, we loved our stay at Naomi’s Inn Bed & Breakfast and would 100% come back.

I loved loved loved this house, and Marcy is an incredible host! Situated in one of the quieter areas of Springfield, near Baystate Hospital with easy access to the main roads and a short trip to beautiful areas for biking and hiking. This house is a gem! spotless, with fresh flowers, wonderful bed linens, towels a private bathroom equipped with a rainwater shower head, a comfy sitting area open to the bedroom within my uniquely themed room. There is a tranquil area for sitting both on the front and back decks of the house. Breakfast is delish and well thought with incredible service and support! this is an amazing spot for a family or stopping on your way through western Massachusetts. You will want to return to this relaxed and very comfy space. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have stayed here twice. The first time was for 4 nights. My husband & I chose it primarily for location, right across the street from Bay State Hospital. What a find. The room was large and luxurious, breakfast was delicious (Marcie seems to always have an egg casserole as well as a carb dish, like stuffed french toast). The second time was for one night, again in a large, beautiful room. The rooms are immaculate and inviting. I will be back.

We expected a bright shining B&B as in the photos. Not sure who voted this up to a 4.5! We would give it a "just above crusty" 2.5 at the best. Musty odor of the bed clothes and towels, overall building needs some TLC. With some wood replacement and paint, as well as some overall cleanup, it could be much better. Right across from the hospital, we heard sirens all night. Due largely to COVID precautions, the experience may have been less than we expected, so we would give it the benefit of the doubt. Breakfast was served in the room, but it came without utensils, so I had to go looking for something to eat breakfast with...The owners were very nice and tried to be as accomodating as possible, I felt they were maybe a bit in over their heads, particularly with state covid resrictions.

The experience which lead to the decision:
Booked Naomi's Inn via a third party a couple weeks in advance. Our family arrived on schedule, as did four other set of guests. There was no one at the INN to check us in...we called and the owner said he was 5 minutes down the road. After sitting in our car for awhile (in February) I decided to call again to see where he was, he said he was having a bathroom issue and could not make it but would check me in via the phone. He allowed us (and the other guests to our rooms.
Upon entering the inn and into our room, there was a musty or pet smell. The sheets in our bedroom were not properly made, the beds were slept in with hair all over them. A huge dead bug on the floor. Smell of urine in the bathroom. Yellowing around the bidet sprayer. After traveling, my husband and I said let's make the best of it and ask for new sheets. Upon calling the management, a lady answers and insists she made the beds and all was clean. I also ask for two more set of towels for our family of four as the room only had two. She gives us the towels and crumpled new sheets. The sets of towels she gives us still had the tags on them!
After this, I just dropped everything and our family decided to head out for the evening....upon leaving we notice the breakfast area. It was dirty with food crumbs everywhere. This was the last straw. I was getting sick from the smell (I am unsure if there was a cat in the house I am very allergic to cats) but the uncleanliness left a lot to be desired. We called management and told them we were leaving and went to find another accommodations, we ended up staying 20 minutes further away from our event but we felt clean. We originally chose Naomi's Inn because it was rated with an "Award of Excellence"; how it managed this award baffles our family.
We respect to their integrity, they refunded us the extra $30 they charged us for our children. We still had to pay though for the night since we originally paid via third party.
The house can be charming if it gets de-cluttered and cleaned! And white linens and towels for guests. So much potential!

This is an unfortunate slander. I was not '5 minutes down the road' I was sick in the bathroom and will not elaborate for obvious reasons. I did say someone would be able to help 'in 5 about minutes' and Marci was dealing with 4 other sets of guests as mentioned. Even at a big hotel, there are only 1-2 people to check you in at any given time. So your 'waiting in February' in a heated vehicle on a 40-degree day was your own choice. 'Hair all over' aka one strand of hair from Marci who changed the sheets. As far as the kitchen 'having crumbs' it is a general space being used by anywhere from 10-20 people at all times of the day. People sit and eat\drink at the table and we clean it regularly throughout the day. The guest obviously read in previous reviews that we own cats and did what a lot of people do and speak negatively about an experience that was not their own. As far as a 'pet smell'? Our cats live in a completely different house across the driveway. I guess her super sense of smell was able to penetrate the 3 different walls necessary to sense a litter box. Most of this review is exaggerated greatly or simply untrue. As far as the husband in this situation, the guy is a saint and tried to handle this situation with class and my hat goes off to him. I guess he feels the same way about his spouse as you do about our inn, can be charming at times and has so much potential.

The rooms at this B&B are creative and clean. They are uniquely themed and the one I stayed in was extremely aesthetically pleasing. In the morning the breakfast was fantastic and delicious, the Innkeeper Marci is a fantastic chef and has intelligent conversation to offer. Other B&Bs I looked at or previously stayed at don't even offer breakfast. If I have another trip to MA I definitely won't book anywhere but here.

Booked two rooms in advance and neither room was available. Neither room was available. There was some explanation provided about the room(s) being occupied by a patient from the hospital across the street who refused to leave. The owner stated that it would take her ten (10) minutes - exact words to clean the room. Considering that the inn had a musty odor and generally looked unkept this concerned me as COVID19 is still rampant. I was not able to get a straight answer from the I guess "owner" concerning the status of the rooms booked, etc.
.
Because of the condition of the inn - not clean and no protocol for sanitazation - , we left and stayed at a nearby Courtyard (Marriott). The owner claimed that I was a no show and refused to refund my prepayment. I cannot believe the favorable reviews. This place is a mess. I cannot believe that the owner has refused my refund request.

Response from Marci Webber, General Manager at Naomi's Inn Bed & Breakfast
Responded 08 Jun 2022
Unfortunate that this person wants to slander us. She came 2 hours early and wanted everything to be ready for two rooms despite not paying for an early check-in for 2 rooms. Literally in the kitchen with a basket of laundry taking it to the laundry room to be washed. We offered them a California King Suite to get ready in while their other room was prepared early free of charge. Instead, she pushed and pushed and pushed. People like this are what is wrong with society. Don't want to follow rules, don't want to pay for extras and want everything at the time they want it. This was during a graduation weekend, one of the only times for small hospitality places to make money, and help carry us through the year. This person decided it was a good idea to show up in the middle of the cleaning process and judge us. We could've re-rented the room on a busy night. However, she would not commit to cancel. Said she would go outside and figure it out because she had to be to an event. We are then beholden to keep the room reserved for the guest and she did not come back and did not communicate or return a call. Awful, I hope no-one judges you this same way. I am guessing the results would not be favorable.

Naomi's Bed & Breakfast is a gem!. It combines unique old world charm with luxurious modern conveniences. Each room is decorated in its own unique style, our room even had a fish tank.
The delicious breakfast was hand made by the Proprietress herself, Marci, who is a force of nature and the most gracious hostess.
We were thoroughly delighted with our stay, and would go to Springfield again just to stay at Naomi's.

We stayed here for two nights and rented two rooms: Room 1-Simple Elegance (parents) and Room 6-Kinda Cape (adult kids). This delightful bed & breakfast is in a great location, had plenty of parking and very quiet especially since it’s across the street from the hospital. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, the breakfasts were very good and the rooms were clean. We received an email confirming our upcoming stay a few days before which asked us if we had any food considerations. Once our room was ready we received a text with instructions on how to access our room, the wifi password and what time breakfast was served. They also asked a second time (in case we had forgotten the first time) to provide any food restrictions which was very nice. When we had questions the team responded promptly by text. I would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you!

My wife and I had occasion to stay at Naomi’s Inn in Springfield, MA this past weekend, and could not have been happier. From the oversized Louis XIV room to the superb breakfast prepared by Inn Keeper and owner, Lauren, everything perfectly fell into place. The decorations were appropriate for the room and the entire house and grounds were filled with touches of whimsey. If your travels ever take you to Springfield, MA (home of the Basketball Hall of Fame and MGM Casino) I would highly recommend that you stay at Naomi’s

We are about 30 minutes via highway if you consider traffic. We are also near the Chicopee border but we are DEFINITELY not in Chicopee.
