Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here on the suggestion of a good friend who stays here when his daughter is receiving treatment at Shriners’ Children’s New England. We were apprehensive due to it being our toddler’s first hotel stay. The staff was excellent, the rooms were spacious, and you don’t really get much noise from the train line or interstate. I would recommend getting the breakfast package with your stay if possible. Prices didn’t seem too bad. The server/waiter at breakfast was phenomenal.

I wanted to treat myself to what I figured would be a "superior" stay for my personal New Year's celebration based on the brand name. I could have stayed at my favorite choice and fared much better. On the positive side: the property is very clean; and (except for New Year's Eve, which is understandable) generally quiet. The walls, however, are quite thin. You can hear every word your neighbors are saying and what they are watching on TV (and more). For the price paid one would imagine that breakfast would be included, but it is not. Frankly, the quality of food is not superior, nor are the choices available. Essentially you are paying for the two guys who will cook eggs to order for you. The server, however, was extraordinarily nice and extremely attentive. Sadly, though, there were also issues with appliances and the furnishings in the room which should not exist in a facility that carries a supposedly prestigious name. Advice: search nearby. There are other facilities which can offer just as much for quite a bit less, including access to all of the local attractions with very little effort and travel time.

We picked this hotel because of the location adjacent to the Basketball Hall of Fame and because it had a pool for the grandkids
When we arrived and checked in we were told that the pool was closed
The reason was that they had a busy weekend !!!
We were offered a refund if we wanted to check out. We stayed and the kids watched a movie.
Now onto the breakfast….not included with the room.
The breakfast selection was limited and very expensive
We were charged for items we didn’t order and didn’t get an item we did order
The food was just awful.
If you stay here go someplace for breakfast.
Do Not Eat Here
Very nice staff

I arrived at 9 pm after a 3 hour drive from NY and a translantic flight so was quite tired. Check in was fast and arrived at my room to find it quite cold (66F). I turned on the heat and unpacked and relaxed and then wanted to go to bed and had to turn the heat of as it was quite noisy. I woke up at 1 am and it was really cold and I was freezing. Tried to find an extra blanket in the cupboard but there was none, so had to settle with the blanket from the extra bed, but woke up several times freezing.
Next day I made sure the heat was on 74 F when I left and got home in the evening. It was still cold so I called service desk. They send a nice guy up who explained there was intelligent heating system that would only heat when I was in the room. But he gave me access so I could control my self and rest of my stay there was 74 F.
Fitness room was not super - it smelled of OD and 2 of the 4 machines did not work proper. I tried to turn them on but nothing happened. On day 3 I tried starting up on the cross trainer and then it started but part of the menu and the display did not work 100%. I did not report this in, properly should have. On the positive side the staff is really friendly and service minded.

Arrived after a long drive and was greeted with an attitude where the whole family felt we were doing the front desk lady an inconvenience. She was not welcoming, didn’t recognize me as a loyal Hilton member and when asking for water for the room it was as if we’d asked for an upgrade to the penthouse suite!! The only way i can compare the service here is when i go to a Chick Fil A they are welcoming, smile and genuinely want to help and serve you. Whereas generally at McDonalds they really don’t care so much, often grunt and throw your order at you. Well this place was like visiting a McDonalds. Awful!! Room was ok, clean, but the welcome put such a sour taste in our mouths we would never visit here again. And please Mr Manager, don’t answer this review asking us to call you at the hotel like you seem to do on all negative reviews here...I contacted you via the feedback form in the Hilton App 2 days ago but haven’t heard a thing. Disappointing and not what I am used to experiencing at Hilton.

We were here on family business and needed a hotel for a few nights. We decided to try this one. We ended up in a suite and Breakfast was included (fabulous breakfast with made to order omelettes, eggs, pancakes, etc.). The room was spacious and clean. We had a desk, two tv's and two bathrooms. Fridge, microwave, etc. so that was all good. We found it quiet except for the trains that go by during the night but did not hear the highway. We did hear some early planes. For what we needed, it was fine. Lot's of free parking and three restaurants within a 3 minute walk.

We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a Gymnastics competition for our kids. There was a snowstorm coming and we didn't want to worry about driving. The lobby is very inviting, clean and nicely decorated. Check-in was smooth. Our room was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The walls seemed to be well insulated because we couldn't hear our neighbors at all. The pool/hot tub area, while pretty small, was still nice and fun. It did get crowded quick our second day so it could get a bit (covid) uncomfortable. The lobby/breakfast area was nice, the food was good and the coffee very good! That was a really nice feature given the snow storm, that we didn't have to venture out for a nice breakfast. Both continental and made to order. Our server the second day was awesome. We had been incorrectly charged the day before and though we only casually mentioned it to him, he talked to the manager and credited us back without asking.
The only negative feedback was that the pool ran out of towels because the hotel was very busy. There were several events in the area so the staff was very busy. Also, there were no USB ports in the room for charging devices, only regular plugs. also not the most up to date smart TV. When I asked about this, one of the employees said that Hilton renovates every 20 years and they were just on the cusp, so they are due for some upgrades. One other thing, in consideration for it not being recently renovated, the rate per night was expensive for staying in Springfield. I think this was due to the large number of events going on in the area, but it was overpriced in my opinion.
Overall though we were very happy.

Location off 91, convenient for thru travelers. Customer service is C+. Interior was nice/clean but mattress soft/sunken and flat pillows need replacement. There was noise complaint (adjacent room guests) that was not handled in my best interest by Asst GM. In fact interaction (fast taking, deflecting, talking over me, miscommunication...) left me bewildered, wanting to leave and never return. Hint: Don’t place guests in rooms so close together when not fully booked, guest noisemakers should be moved or asked to leave other guests should not be inconvenienced for issues they did not cause (Customer Service 101). They can do better.

+1
This location gave me excellent customer service during my stay at this location. Bianca, Shane, Sara, and Retricia all gave me excellent customer service. Shane was amazing during my time at check in as well as my time during check out helping me with whatever requests I had during his shift while I stayed at this location. Also this location as amazing breakfast at this site as well taste and presentation wise. The reason why I rated a 4 out of 5 at this location is because of 3 things 1. The bottom of the right pillowcase in the room had a small black mark on it we fixed it by just requesting more pillows. 2. The air conditioner worked good but I felt it needs to be upgraded because it’s a bit outdated because you had to set temperature in room to 64 degrees to get it really cold in the room. 3. Lastly the bathroom needs to be completely updated there was a noticeable small rust mark in the ceiling and a small minor chip mark in the marble on the floor. 4. Lastly my last issue was with the breakfast in the mornings because if you came down from 8:30a-10a this location is very busy breakfast wise with very few servers to help wait you at a table to eat. Once you get your food it’s well worth the wait but this is something this location needs to get better at I feel is have more workers for breakfast peak hours each morning. Pros of this location amazing customer service. Prime location to the basketball hall of hall. Pool and Jacuzzi both were excellent and well maintained. Fitness rooms and Work Center rooms looked great although I didn’t use them. An the restaurant Chicago Uno is connected to this hotel so you never have to really leave the hotel building to get inside Chicago Uno restaurant because it’s connected and they have some really great food. An lastly you have restaurants also inside of the basketball hall of fame that are excellent and gas stations extremely close to you to fill up when your ready to leave. Overall I would highly recommend this location and I would comeback to this location to stay again. I rate this site a 4.5 out of 5 overall.

I drove into that area with my personal car. I’m not sure where on can be rented from in that area. I’d say look on google maps ok.

I get employee rate so not sure
Not unless you have a voucher which is usually associated with business traveler accounts.
