Great location. Clean big rooms. Frig and microwave in the room. Good breakfast. Very free and easy parking.
Front desk people were friendly. Only issue was nothing around hotel after 9pm to eat. Literally 3 mins to MGM casino. 15-20 mins from BDL airport.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving at 2PM with pre registration and an email that our room was ready. The receptionist checked my ID and issued the key cards. We took our bags to one of the 2 central elevators up to the 6th floor. Room #604 was spacious and nicely decorated with 2 comfortable queens, a cabinet with refrigerator, micro and Keurig, dresser with TV(40+ channels), desk and chair, easy chair with ottaman and a fully outfitted bathroom with shower. Room WIFI was strong, large windows had a nice downtown view and a wall thermostat controlled the under window AC/heat.
The 6 AM Grab n Go breakfast bag contained a muffin, breakfast bar & fruit cup and I added OJ, yogurt, cereal, milk and lobby coffee from the available selections.
The indoor pool was closed for Covid but I did use the adjacent 6 station gym. I parked in the hotel’s back lot(~15 cars) with overflow parking(~50 cars) nearby.
This beautiful new 98 room hotel has been wonderfully retrofitted into the Classical Revival shell of the 1917 Radding Building, part of the downtown renovation. We walked to all the downtown sights and the Springfield Museum complex making it a practical and comfortable stay at $138/night.

We came for business at Westover AFB and decided we wanted to stay close to the casino. The casino was booked so we opted for this hotel. It’s one block from the casino and from leaving our room it only took a few minutes to walk there. The parking is free and they have free breakfast. We didn’t try the pool so we can’t comment on it but the hotel was very clean. We stayed in a king suite and I was happy about that since we traveled without kids and dancers from a competition were staying at the hotel. I felt the king suite put us a good distance from their potential noise. However, the location of this hotel and room can be very noisy anyway. We never heard any of the kids in the hotel but our door was directly across from the ice machine so we would hear large crashes coming from it. There are lots of cars that like to rev their engines and play loud music on the streets surrounding the hotel. The windows did not do a good job of stifling the noise. The staff was really friendly and check-in was smooth. We would stay here again because it was clean, our suite was large, it had a microwave and fridge included, it is like staying on MGM property because it is so close, and it was half the price of the casino.

Dear Spedteacher2020, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback. I'm very happy to see that for the most part you enjoyed your stay with us, however, I can see we failed to meet your expectations due to disturbance from the street. I will certainly share your feedback in our upcoming Team meeting, where your suggestions can be carefully considered. Thank you again for taking the time to share with us, and we hope to see you back again.

We got there and were a little nervous about the neighborhood. It didn't appear to be the greatest but if you went up or down a few blocks it seemed nicer. We checked in and went to our room and noticed it was extremely warm and the temperature was rising as we unpacked. We called the front desk and within 10-15 minutes they had a maintenance man up to our room to check the air conditioner. He determined it needed to be replaced and was back within another 10-15 minutes. We left to get dinner and do some sightseeing and when we returned our room was nice and cool. We had a very pleasant stay here and it was very clean. Overall a good stay and close to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

This was a family trip to the Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield Museums and Six Flags in Agawam. The hotel itself was fine - clean, friendly staff, however, it is in the heart of downtown Springfield and sadly I did not feel very safe in this location. We booked here because we felt we would walk to some of our destinations but unfortunately once we arrived, we did not feel comfortable doing so. The most troubling issue was that it appears that State Street (where hotel is located) is essentially a motorcycle speedway - every night during our three night stay, we could hear motorcycles loudly racing through the street until about 2/3am, therefore, we felt like we hardly slept. While our room was facing State Street, I don’t think any of the rooms would avoid this noise as the hotel is relatively small.

If you’re a family looking to stay somewhere in Springfield, I’d suggest checking out the Hilton Garden, which is next to the Basketball Hall of Fame and a bit further from Downtown Springfield. It’s definitely a bit more isolated there, but several restaurants all within walking distance at the Hall of Fame.

I almost didn't book this hotel after reading the negative reviews about the parking. I was thinking it was going to be super sketchy. What we found was the total opposite to be true. There are two lots in the back of the hotel and a driveway on the side which has three or four spots. At no time did we feel unsafe in this area and at no time were we worried about our car. The location is on a busy street and you do get traffic noise but nothing was awful. I had a room on the second floor facing the side, not the front street. The room was large. It had a great sitting area, large bathroom, desk, and let me tell you, one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on. I have chronic back pain and this mattress was plush but had support. Even the pillows were fantastic. The room was clean. We had a refrigerator in our room that came in handy. The breakfast was really great. The girls were working hard to keep everything stocked. The location is downtown. The streets are pretty deserted but we at no time felt unsafe. You're a couple of blocks from the casino and just a ten minute walk to the Symphony Hall. We were going to a concert so it was great to be able to just walk over. There aren't many restaurants in the area and things to do. That isn't the hotels fault. There are a group of homeless people close to the Symphony Hall but at no point were any of them aggressive or ask for anything. We felt totally safe walking back to the hotel after midnight. This is a great place to say and super value for what you get. We'll be back and won't stay anywhere else in Springfield.

Called to cancel my reservation and they moved it up a week earlier instead…. Then I got hit with the charge as a no show and they would not honor their mistake. Stay somewhere else… there’s plenty in the area and their staff will just put you on hold or transfer to the “GM” which is just a “ press 1 to leave a message” recording.

Stayed in this hotel for several nights this past autumn while attending The Big-E. We were given a room that was smaller than what we'd reserved, but when we spoke to Kelly at the front desk about it, she very quickly resolved the issue and the new room was perfect. Later that night Kelly also gave us a recommendation for a restaurant, which turned out great. The next morning Kelly was working again, and she spent 20 minutes giving us advice on how to get where we needed to go, as well as other interesting things to see in the area. In short, the hotel was lovely and clean, and Kelly made it even better.

My family had an outstanding stay that surpassed our expectations in every way. Due to a schedule change on my part, I had 3 rooms reserved for 2 consecutive nights under 6 separate reservation numbers. The Holiday Inn reservation call center told me this was necessary because the hotel was fully booked and we would have to check-out in the morning and switch to different rooms, which would have been a huge inconvenience. We arrived at the hotel on a very busy weekend when several local events and college graduations were taking place. Jess at the front desk immediately recognized that my original booking was not ideal and discussed it with the hotel general manager. He was able to merge our reservations so we did not have to change rooms. It took some time to process all the changes, and through it all Jess was very friendly, patient, and acted with great poise. Our rooms were updated and very clean and comfortable. I slept better on the mattress and bedding than I have at other higher end properties. The rooms were quiet and we had no issues with excessive noise. Parking was convenient. Overall, an excellent property!

It’s diagonaly across then street in an open surface lot. It is about a block and while not the most convenient it isn’t to far as well. You DO NOT want to park on the street in front of the hotel as you may get a ticket. The City has someone patrolling almost every 15 mins, so beware and park in the lot.
