As Scottsbluff/Gering natives, we know the Cobblestone is a top tier choice for the valley. We have stayed here while visiting family after moving away. This is the second time we have stayed at the Cobblestone Inn (both during the pandemic) and it has yet to disappoint. This time, we stayed two nights. Val at the front desk helped us book our room with only a few hours notice without any problems. We had a king suite that was spacious, and fit our family of four well. We like to think we do a fair amount of traveling and this hotel definitely checks off all the boxes on convenience. Our room had more than enough outlets to charge a laptop, iPads, a watch, phones, and a Nintendo switch overnight. We had enough pillows, blankets, and towels without having to ask for more. The “to-go” breakfast had hot and cold options, which other hotels haven’t always had during the pandemic. Coffee was available in our room and in the foyer. The pool and fitness room were available, despite COVID. The convenience store inside was a nice addition so that we didn’t have to leave the building for drinks or snacks. A “to-go” bar with wines, beers, and shots was available. You don’t have to go far to find anything you might need in town. Staff was always friendly toward us and our children. Most importantly, especially during a pandemic, the hotel looked spotlessly clean.

Chose this location because it was near Scotts Bluff National Monument and the Legacy of the Plains Museum. A relatively quiet neighborhood with a few restaurants within a short drive and a supermarket across the street. I can't speak on the size of a standard king suite as we were lucky to get an upgrade to a larger suite with a full size living room with a small kitchen area. Looks like they have a nice lounge, but it was closed due to Covid. The breakfast area did not allow anyone to sit down and offered a selection of self serve to go items. Staff was wearing masks and looked like the hotel was doing their best to comply with Covid safety precautions. Overall a pretty nice stay and would stay here again and highly recommend this location.

A one night stand as we passed through Nebraska from Colorado to South Dakota. Nice spacious clean and comfy bed. Slept like a rock, excellent sleep quality. Very limited continental breakfast with the pandemic

Stayed here on Mar 13th through the 15th for a family celebration in Scottsbluff, before the big apocalypse....Hotel was immaculate and everyone was super friendly! We applaud Alex, "the night guy" as he was the most professional and customer focused representative of this hotel. We enjoyed our few adult beverages at the very convenient lounge area and enjoyed great conversation with Alex, whom we were so impressed with. I also must make mention of the General Manager, name slips by me, but she was also very accommodating! After noticing that we had a small Chihuahua she asked if we had paid the pet fee. I was lost, as I had not made the reservation. She waived it! Thank you!! All in all, for a small town like Gering/Scottsbluff we could not have stayed in a nicer place! Thank You! Please make sure you express our thanks to Alex as well! Heck, even the maids were nice!!

In town for a business trip, very clean and affordable, good breakfast, not far from Scottsbluff so if you need a cheaper place to stay but still very nice and close to Scottsbluff this is a great choice, right along the highway and downtown, across the street from the convention center and grocery store, near restaurants and bakery, would stay here again
