My family is currently staying at Wailea Beach Villas. We are in unit L410...a 2BR ocean view penthouse. We have made many trips to Maui and have always stayed at Grand Wailea but this time decided to rent a condo. These units are exceptional. There is security when you arrive. You check in at the desk and are greeted with a fresh lei. Once checked in you are escorted to your parking space which is directly across from the elevator that leads to you unit. The key card allows you to access your room with a private entrance. A very nice feature. The unit is extremely clean and very well appointed. The master has a very nice shower and separate tub and a very large walk in closet. The second bedroom had 2 twin beds and their own large bathroom. The kitchen was so well stocked. It had all dishes/glasses and a plastic set as well if you wanted to take to pool. It's fully stocked with pots, pans, bakeware, barware....anything you may need during your stay including small appliances like blenders, rice cookers, coffee grinders and mixers. There are 2 refrigerators and drawer freezers. The patio has a Viking grill that is great for grilling fish on. There is a full laundry room if needed and detergent is supplied. There are 2 pools with one being an adult pool. There are a few cabanas that can be used at no additional cost. The pool attendants will set them up for you or, if you'd like, they will set you up on the beach with umbrellas. They keep the pool and surrounding area spotless. I've seen them spot cleaning the pool cushions. The property itself is beautiful. It's lushly landscaped and well maintained. We've enjoyed staying in the condo as there is a grocery store within walking distance that has anything you may need and the units are right next to a nice outdoor retail space with shops and restaurants. The location is really good if you're looking for a relaxing stay. They schedule you for a cleaning service mid-stay if needed. Perfect location! The adult pool is perfect place to relax and close to beach to take a dip and cool off. The resort staff was always quick to answer any questions or give suggestions on where to eat. So nice to have the shops of wailea at your back door.

Accommodations were spacious and luxurious and the whole family could spread out and relax. Having the Shops at Wailea across the street was super convenient with restaurants, shopping, and even a market. We loved having a full kitchen and being able to have a leisurely breakfast in our apartment. It was also a very short walk along the beach path to the Four Seasons, Marriott, etc if we wanted to dine at their restaurants. Pool/beach staff were so attentive and we never had to worry about finding a chair, unlike some of the larger resorts. In the end we paid less for a large beachside apartment then we would have for a comparable resort.

Perfect location and amenities for our family vacation. Easy walk to the beach, great views, tons of privacy. While there were families, it was not chaotic like a hotel resort. Beautiful grounds. Close to Wailea Shops and restaurants, other resorts, walking and running trails, etc. Loved the beach umbrellas and chairs service! We ended up eating breakfast and lunch at the condo and dinner out every night. High end appliances and furniture. Also loved the private elevators.

The good: 1. Spacious units. 2. Well manicured property. 3. Incredible views. The bad: 1.Fun police enforces strict curfews at 9p for pool area. 2. Concierge is slow to respond to basic questions. 3.Beach access with stroller was cumbersome. 4. Hyatt members with status are not acknowledged. 5. Very expensive $1600+ per night for 2 bedroom with an ocean view.

This is our fourth visit to Wailea Beach villas. They are beautiful units with a great location next to the Wailea shops. The property never feels crowded and is in perfect shape. We will definitely be back!
