This hotel is a lovely location on the water and right by the Roman Castle. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was good. The dining area is right on the water with excellent views. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags upstairs. There is also no parking outside the hotel so be prepared to drag your bags a few blocks. We parked in the garage which is a good location. Staff told us that parking was free since we were off season (March). It may have been on the street but not in the garage - as we discovered when trying to leave. Cost was about $25 per night. The room had good HVAC. The window curtains do not darken so you may wake up with the sun. That was ok with us. The hotel was noisy. Not sure if this was a particular group of if soundproofing is not great.

The hotel is good, clean, the room with a balcony overlooking the sea does not disappoint, which is precisely what you pay for, but I don't know if the price and the views compensate for the strange smell of the hotel (an air freshener that looks like rancid fruit that is very heavy) and especially the noise from the hotel pub that is on the ground floor all day until 2 or so in the morning with very loud music and noise from people. If you are going with a plan to rest, take a nap...it is not your place. Good things, the clean room, the friendly staff and the breakfast on the sea more than adequate for a star.

The confirmation after booking literally said, ......to relax. That did not work. Air conditioning on and windows closed. Located on a busy alley with only restaurants that are open until late. Sleeping became difficult but earplugs helped! The receptionist didn't know much about the party of the year, she wasn't from the village. Due to the crowds, parking was only possible in the paid parking garage (reception did not know what that costs either) and in the end it was fine. Subscribed for a week, guaranteed place. Breakfast can be called downright poor. No eggs, 1 vegetarian option. But thanks to Michael for the sublime service so that we could still have breakfast. Furthermore, hostess Paqui gets kudos because she was one of the few really friendly staff members in the hotel.
The bar downstairs was great (nice staff there too) nice view and chill atmosphere. Location is fine. Taped to the old part. The boulevard looks like Lloret de Mar in the 80s, but it is fun to walk once and be amazed by the enormousness of the buildings.
Old part of Peniscola is super nice to stay. Many restaurants, bars, boutiques and terraces.

To flee.... Pseudo-trendy place. Poor food for a high Award where the waiters are in such a hurry to finish that they make you eat fast! The rooms are noisy the Beach Club has a lot to do with it and at night the street is plagued by night owls then collecting bottles around 4am.
Poor breakfast fresh produce is not stored cold and yogurt was out of date! 😞 so bad experience of our stay! Which we deliberately cut short

Not rated. The place is nice but not amazing. We tried to book in for a night and the lady on reception just had no hospitable service. August is premium so we were lucky they had a room but when we mentioned 2 nights she did the hard sell and not in a nice way. We asked if we could see the room and it was a straight “no”.???Said we’d go downstairs for a drink in THEIR bar and have a quick discussion and when we got back she told us the room was gone. No effort to find us. The vibe was awful and we found an amazing place for almost half the price with better views and amazing staff close by.

They refused us an entrance to an almost empty restaurant, we just wanted to have a coffee and a desert. They said NO, they can only allow people to eat, obviously having an espresso machine inside the bar. First time in my life. Very rude and disappointing experience.

The Award Value is really not up to it, with ridiculous portions! In addition 4 friendly waiter(s) who turns you around to rid the table barely finished your dish, I understand that you have to do several services, frankly not very nice.
Nice setting with views of the northern beaches. But don't leave you time to enjoy it, too bad. Thank you.

Very bad experience. The establishment has a pub in the lower part of the building with loud music until 3 in the morning, and you can also hear a lot of noise from the street, hallway, other rooms... As if that were not enough, inside the room smells like
Very strong plumbing mixed with the smell of air freshener, it is very unpleasant. We reported this at reception and they told us that they were aware and the only thing they
could do was give us more air freshener, this under
our point of view could only worsen the
situation. We couldn't sleep most of the night. The location is very good and the breakfast was not bad but it doesn't make up for the rest of the night.
experience, especially taking into account the high
price we pay.

Unbeatable views, top 10 food, an ideal place facing the sea for some beautiful memories. The workers are very professional and attentive. If you want to celebrate a different day with your loved ones, it is the perfect place. I recommend it 100%.

El hotel no cuenta con aparcamiento propio, pero existe uno público de pago por horas descubierto, muy cerca, aunque en agosto suele estar bastante concurrido
