The hotel is old but well maintained and clean. The rooms have a terrace with a small clothesline, table and chairs. The beds are double and the bathroom is quite large, but they do not provide amenities in the room, only the small bar of hand soap and a shower gel dispenser with a small amount. There is a sign that says that if you need them (toothbrush and paste, sewing kit, comb, shampoo, etc.), you should ask for them at reception, but when you ask for them they hold you back...
The food is good, the dinners are a little simpler and with less variety but the food is good.
For the spa you have to book, it is not expensive and it is good, there are several jacuzzis, a large heated pool with jets, a hot and cold sauna, a hammam and a jet circuit for the legs. And if you feel like a massage, they go separately.
The location is very quiet, right in front of it is the beach, although it is far from the center of Peñiscola, you need a car if you want to go see the castle, and the hotel parking is paid.
In short, it is not a hotel in which I am looking forward to repeating, but I do not rule it out either.

Super friendly people, very spacious reception. It has two pool bars and one upstairs. The animation is fine and there are for all ages. The pool although a little small for the size of the hotel was fine. The hammocks were a bit complicated to pick up but the rescue workers were cleaning the towels that had been there too long without people. The buffet was pretty good, varied food and themed dinners. The room in the photos seemed bigger than it actually was, but good for a few days or so bad. The beach close only cross a small road. The location is a little far from the center but there is a bus that takes you there and picks you up even a little expensive if you are several. Parking downstairs as you carry a large car is a little fair. Free laundry facilities are available, including washing machines and dryers. Overall the stay and the hotel was great.

Firstly it is not in Peñiscola - it is 4.5 km walk to the castle area!

The rooms are spacious with large beds and a big terrace.

Everything is controlled military style in the dining room, but the food is a big disappointment- mass produced canteen quality food. The selection is also limited as far as fresh food is concerned!!!

The decor reflects the age of the hotel and needs updating desperately.

Staff were generally friendly 😃

Thanks for giving your opinion. As is published on the main Booking page, we are 3 km from the town. It can be reached by taking a walk along the beach, in your own vehicle, or by bus, whose stop is 100 meters from the hotel. I'm sorry that our food didn't convince you. I'm glad you liked the room and its terrace. All the best

The overall hotel is pretty good.
Very comfortable rooms, in the app give you to choose pillow if you do not like the one you have, plus any problem you can send for the app or reception.
They changed our towels every day.
True, the floor was not as clean as my house but the girls were cleaning the hotel at all hours.
Buffet, more than enough, are repeated but as in almost all hotels, it is improveable but wonderful.
Swimming pool, oversaturated, one morning there was no room in the glass to get in and the hammocks, they are already getting some hanging. Yes, noon the rescue worker removes the items from the hammocks that are more than 45min empty, so good for it.
Next to the beach it is great, that area does have strong waves. 3.5km from the Castle, by bus or car.
The excellent staff, generally super friendly, attentive, both in Restaurant, bar, reception and just arriving there is a person at the entrance (to the sun) to explain that you can leave the car while you check in...super friendly.
Animation, during the day there are many things for everyone but after minidisc, there is little.
Spa,gym we don't play but to have a good time.
So overall very well

Restaurant: quality right price. We went to this hotel for being inside the coeliac association and for the girl it was a success. They have a fixed menu for each day of the week and separately they tell you everything you can eat from the buffet, if the girl liked something they took it from inside. I would have liked more variety of desserts and some pastries at breakfast. The buffet staff a 10 all very friendly.
Pool: the weekend crowded but on weekdays we were fine. Dirty hammocks and the pool full of sand. I have to say that as much as they clean if the guests when they arrive from the beach are not able to even clean their feet it is normal that the pool is with the bottom of sand and stones. The lifeguard could be a little more attentive and to all those guests who arrive from the beach and go straight to the pool just to clarify remind them that there are showers. Because I've seen many use it just to lighten up and get in the room.
Entertainment, activities, right rooms.
Great cocktails. Although on several occasions they were missing some ingredient such as peppermint, mint or fruit.

We had requested a baby cot before we arrived only to be told this is only a request and that if we wanted one we had to pay an extra 8 euros per night if we wanted one. Why was this not mentioned on booking.com when we made the request that there be a extra charge not a great first impression for us when we arrived. Staff was helpful but I would suggest maybe for your international guests to have some information on the desk in English. I could see that there was some kind of bus service from hotel but it was all in Spanish so we ended up getting taxi into town everytime we wanted to go which was 13 euros. The guys in the bar was very helpful especially when we needed to heat up the milk for the baby.

Good morning. Thank you for taking a minute to rate your stay. This is the information that Booking has published, regarding the crib: Conditions on cots and extra beds 0 - 2 years Cot on request €8 per child and night The price of cots is not included in the total price and must be paid separately during the stay. The number of cots allowed depends on the option you choose. Check the option you have chosen to find out more. There are no extra beds available at this property. All cribs are subject to availability. I understand that when making the reservation, they did not see it. A shame. They wouldn't have gotten that first bad impression. I take note of your suggestion so that the information is also in English. Thanks for the advice. I trust you had a good trip home. All the best.

Well, my name is Joaquin Moares, Tour leader of the world, first I want to thank everyone and all the members of the ENTIRE team that make up this hotel, but individually say that as a guide I was lucky enough to spend 4 months last year and this year 1 whole month and then loose weeks and say that it was already last year and this year the first time that I do not have a single complaint neither of the groups that passed by the hotel nor of anyone that I know or have knowledge, I do not know what hya is behind the scene or care, but what I see when the curtain rises and all the members come out on stage is very good, I will tell my experience, first the one that ALL the staff has a smile from morning to night for all the clients, never a bad face despite that they see this work we have to put up with all kinds of people, rude swear words and even rude people, but even with everything and with that, always a good face, 100% kindness, 100% education, 100% cleanliness although sometimes we complain about small things that can happen, animation well, and security to the whole team to Josep, Carlos and the others that have to forgive me but I do not know the names, people who are working for our safety and the attention of anyone who needs them, a pleasure to share with them, in buffet, highlight the work of all and thank you on behalf of all the groups that we set foot, Marian, Karyn, Fredy, Inda, Natalira, Javier, and Javier, as always, although not Mescondidales-Valencia, although always Valenos for our diatranos, our waitress, our friendliness, our friendliness, Emilia, our friend, our friend, our friend, Karine, our friend, Maria, our friend, our friend, our friend and our friend.
Reception that I will say of them, if they are the best that I found throughout many hotels, thank you, to Evelin, Lidia, Rosa, Nadia, Michel, and of course to Rosa and Juan that we put so much pressure on them, thank you very much for your patience and for resolutions. Thanks also and not least to Quality , to assistant directors and the director who also treat us, a hug to all and I hope to see you in the following season as it is and will be a pleasure to share with you another season, see you soon.

Hotel in general old, although they have renovated the rooms, everything else, furniture, dining room very shabby and from decades ago.
The worst of all has undoubtedly been the food. Very little variety, terrible quality, with a look that did not invite you to eat, quite the opposite. I'm surprised that there are people who like that tasteless food they serve. People who travel a lot can compare and know what a menu for a 4-star hotel should be like. For me, 2 stars is too big.

The only nice thing was the views from the hotel, since we had a room with a sea view.

Everything else is not worth it, it is wasted money.

I would not return nor recommend this hotel.

The person in charge of the dining room has to change his vision and it is necessary for him to make a big change; Renovate the dining room, make it beautiful, pleasant and also offer delicious, quality food.

The pool loungers were dirty, as was the floor.
One point less also for cleaning.

I repeat: I WILL NOT RETURN NOR RECOMMEND IT!

It is not a 4 star hotel. Buffet very very improvable, rooms obsolete and very noisy, every time someone passed by the hallway it seemed like they were in the room with us.
The quality of the breakfasts, lunches and dinners was very low, powdered juices, very little fruit, there was no French omelet or scrambled eggs and some days not even eggs. Very bad coffees. Meat and fish when there was low quality. I didn't see beef anywhere and there was always only frozen hake for fish. For desserts you could only eat the pudding.

We took a room with view to the sea, the room was as advertised in the pictures. Cleaning service was good. The hotel and facilities were overcrowded: number of lifts insufficient for the amount of people intending to use them (6 lifts for approximately 1200 guests), pool was overcrowded, breakfast low quality (coffee is undrinkable, worst coffee I ever had in Spain, juices so artificial my son drank an apple juice in Mac Donald’s and immediately commented it was better than juice at the hotel… most of the food felt greasy and the cold cuts were of cheap quality…). If you want to have a room with a view be ready to stay up until midnight everyday. The night spectacle is blasting every evening and does not lower the volume between 22:00 and 24:00, the music is not as bad as when the entertainer grabs the microphone… but I really wonder at how many decibels is the allowed limit and how many decibels is the the actual performance takin place at. Overall poorly ran.

Olinguita, thank you for taking a few minutes to rate your stay. I am glad that you liked the sea view from the room as well as the cleanliness. As indicated by the number of clients, we have more than four hundred rooms, so in the month of July, there are many clients and children. I'm sorry you didn't like the coffee, the juices, or what was offered at breakfast. Regarding music in the pool area with entertainment activities as well as shows, it is allowed until midnight. I think you and I talked about it, and I asked the entertainers to try not to shout between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. My apologies for the inconvenience. I trust you had a good trip back home. All the best.
