We have chosen the hotel for its location, the room they called a suite is very spacious with a balcony with sea views, two comfortable 1.35 beds where we rest, with the possibility of a sofa bed with a very good cleaning, the minibar refrigerator works very good. The staff is attentive. Regarding meals, I recommend going first thing in the morning as it gets busy. The food I highlight is the fideuĆ” and rice dishes, although the two islands in the dining room can be a little short but they have a good replenishment. The entertainer is very friendly and set up the pingpong table in the living room where all the children could play. They have mini golf and a ball park. They have a towel loan service that you can exchange and when you leave they return the deposit, it is very good. We rented the hotel's bikes to go to BenicarlĆ³ and PeƱĆscola and we loved spending the whole afternoon with them.

I spent a week at Cadablanca hotel with my family and I cannot complain about a single thing. The hotel was spotless, everyone was very friendly and helpful, there is so much to do for everyone - two swimming pools, jacuzzi, kids playground with mini golf, pool table, gym, daily activities for adults and the kids etc. The common areas around the pool was never too busy, enough sun beds available and table seats around the pool. Waiting staff was always very attentive. Not many waiting and housekeeping staff speaks English, but we liked it as it was quite funny s trying to learn Spanish words and we used Google translator as well. The hotel is 2 minute walk from the beach, there is a bus stop right by the main entrance and lots of shops in a walking distance. No ATM machine though , the nearest is over 2 km far, in town so if you going for a night walk along the strand where lots of people selling clothes and bracelets etc, you need money, they won't take card. Food was nice and tasty, gluten and lactose free options available, kitchen staff always willing to help. I would definitely come back here, the Peniscola is a beautiful place and we loved staying at this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right across from a beach which is not crowded versus other parts of Peniscola. The hotel itself provides great accommodation with spacious rooms and tasty meals. While we didnāt engage very much in the entertainment part we enjoyed the hotel beach at preferential rates and fresh beach towels every day. The walk to the Peniscola castle was aprox 40 mins but foot, but due to the high season the old town was very crowded so we enjoyed every moment of our stay at the hotel and would definitely return.

While there is nothing terribly wrong with the hotel, which is excellently located in extremely close proximity to the beach and beachside restaurants, provides complimentary beach towels, and with helpful staff - as we checked out early after only one of our two nights booked, I feel I have to deduct two stars (having left 5 star reviews for three other hotels we stayed on this trip).
At c. Ā£200/night (booked through Expedia), the room fell woefully short of expectations. It smelt like cigarettes, the beds and pillows were not very comfortable, the bathroom was very basic and could use a refurbishment, the tiles / grout were dirty, and the only windows received intense sunlight from about midday until 8pm (maybe a positive outside a heatwave). Normally this wouldn't be such a big deal for a seaside holiday as you spend most of the time on the beach and in the pool, but given the heatwave and relatively limited A/C common areas, we were confined to the room with curtains drawn for hours on end, and at the price we paid it was simply not up to scratch causing us to leave the hotel early.
The breakfast buffet was free, varied, and 'cheerful' but frankly also below the standard of most hotels I've stayed with cheaper room rates.
The onsite parking was useful, albeit at an extra daily charge and EXTREMELY tight to get in and out of while sweating away your rental car security deposit. The amount of car paint traded with the posts tells the full story.
Overall, had we stayed in cooler weather or were charged less per night perhaps I would have rated this hotel 4 or 5 stars instead of 3, but we weren't so I feel I have to fairly reflect the realities of our stay which was slightly disappointing. I appreciate European hotels have been in high demand this summer so have put prices up to reflect this fact, but if you are cracking the Ā£200/night barrier you are going to have to expect that some customers who are willing to pay that sum might have higher expectations of accommodation, and certainly the Valencia city centre hotel we checked into subsequent at a similar price was far superior.
I would not stay again.

Responded 11 Sept 2022
It's a shame we didn't meet your expectations on this trip. It is true that in summer the rates rise in the area we are in. It is not comparable to the price in the city because there is not a high season. We hope you can come another time. Best regards.

I really don't understand the 4-point opinions... it's the worst 4-star I've ever been to, I don't think I'd give it two. Suites say, they're a scam, it doesn't even come to a room... since you walk through the front desk it leaves a lot to be desired, nothing careful. All very old and dirty. The rooms say that they are for 6 people and are very small, with very bad smell that has touched us. The fridge smells rotten, the bathrooms disgusting, including photos... The queues to enter the restaurant are kilometers, everything is queues, everywhere you go, we have to wait half an hour a table of 5 for breakfast, the same for lunch and dinner... with three young children... The solution of the hotel is simply to tell you not to go in rush hour, rush hour are almost all... because the restaurant is too small and the food little for so many people in the hotel... a shame. Like inside the restaurant, for example, to grab a piece of grilled meat another 20 minutes... impossible queue for tortilla or crepes, that's not the concept of live cooking... mind-blowing. The food is good, but very little variety and do not replenish the trays, as you go half an hour before closing there is no dessert. The first day we were there, there were bananas and when I went looking they didn't put any more, I asked a waiter, because it's
Pretty much the only thing my baby eats, and he told me that if it's over, there's no more, without even asking inside, flippant... Employees also very edges, maybe because of how overwhelmed everything is. To serve salads put a spoon, not with the typical salad tong, and drop the spoons that everyone touches with the handle inside the salad... total unhygienic. Dirty plates and cutlery...
I don't give it 0 stars, because you can't. The services are completely inefficient for the number of people in the hotel. Typical of the HR Iāve been to, in Benidorm or GandĆa, they try to maximize everything at the cost of the quality and well-being of the client, but this has already been the last straw, I donāt get caught anymore, and very expensive...
More stuff: First two days broken TV. The aa barely cools,
There are not enough tables/chairs to watch the animations at night,
Stained and broken towels,
They don't put amenities, now we have to ask everything, with the justification of the environment,
The large pool is filled with black mushroom all over the edges and more...
Anyway, the list of imperfects I can make longer...
And to leave something positive, the beach of PeƱiscola is spectacular!

We stayed in this hotel one week ( for the third time). We appreciate especially helpful staff, very good dining with great choice of food,( even for people with diabetes), spacious rooms, solarium and jakuzzi on the roof, a close beach ( just opposite the street). Unfortunately there is no functional safe in the room.

A family hotel in which to rest and enjoy with the family. The animation is a great thing, they have a lot of daily activities for adults and children and in the evenings we have had a great time. The rooms, huge, and the mattresses very comfortable. The buffet does not have much variety, but for us it has been enough, the delicious rice and the very attentive staff with our allergic little one, have been very vigilant. The beach at the very door of the hotel, and the sea views from the room one pass. We have returned delighted and eager to repeat next summer.

Great room, but to get to it you had to go through a long hallway. The pool is very good since it is located far from the children's pool and is not crowded. The animation, the best thing about the hotel, works hard to ensure that everyone has a good time. And I leave the food for last, the grill is not enough for so many people, despite the efforts of the people in charge, the "trick" is to go very early in the morning, but I discovered it late.

Amazing and beautiful Hotel! Parking is small but room (suite) was huge. Nice staff, clean rooms, incredible breakfast buffet and every day funny entertainment for young and old. Beach is just crossing the street and wide. In September it's very calm as it's not centrally placed and some restaurants are closed. You can find more life in the center of Peniscola walking along the spectacular seafront.
