Detailed Reviews
Just returned from a short break. Paid £19.99 for a flight with Ryanair and just £28 per night for the Palmitos, so wasn't expecting a lot. What we found was a spacious, very clean apartment, with a huge balcony and sea views. I think only block G would have views of the Castle. Apartment has its own free parking space, which you are able to lock a post in place with a padlock provided, a safe, iron, a well equipped kitchen and a small flat screen TV. Sun beds around pool and the balcony could do with renewing. Supermarket is only a 5 min drive away. Restaurant was never open, so cannot comment on it, though from menu in room, prices were reasonable. Only other negative was on arrival at 11am, reception was closed, although sign on door said it was open 9-1. Had to phone the emergency number on the sign to get someone there to book us in. Would I return? To Peniscola.... Definitely and to Los Palmitos..yes , if I got a similar deal.

Excellent staff, spacious apart. Massive balcony. Be aware, you have to have a car to get to beach, Peniscola, restaurants, supermarket. But only 10 mins away. Resort's on a mountain, so yes steps up n down. Fab pool. Do take towels, shower mat plus Kitchen bits like condiments.
+ private parking space.

I had the opportunity to spend 5 days in this residence in April 2016. We had very sunny weather so we could take the most benefit of the great view from our terrace. The flat was well-furnished and contained everything to cook, iron and so on.
The residence is about 25 minutes away from the beach by walk and you have to climb a bit to go there but it is worth taking the walk. Alternatively, there are many possibilities to park your car close to the beach. The residence itself offers a private parking spot. A great place really.

It is the crappiest place we have ever visited. The apartment looks like it's from the 80s, you have to clean yourself and you don't have utensils to do it. They don't leave towels, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 2 days, there is NOTHING in the bathroom, no gel or shampoo, they are just right for having plugs…
I attach photos because it's even scary.
You hear all your neighbors perfectly, if you are looking for a quiet vacation this is not for you.
The common areas are small for all the people staying and even more so in August... we paid 530 euros for two nights and on Sunday we were not able to leave later than 10:30 in the morning so you lose 1 whole day. ABUSIVE.
If you don't have a car, the beach is very far away. The distance is relative since you cannot walk to the center, much less with children.
Oh, and in the pool when you go down you have 25 rules to follow, such as no drinking, no eating, no playing, no jumping rope, etc. a thousand prohibitions for the little they offer.
Very disappointed. We will not return.

Bonsoir,
