Excellent food, price, location and treatment! They have a varied menu that allows you to go beyond the most traditional flavors; plus local beer.
The street is very quiet and welcoming. Perfect for having dinner outside the crowd and on a beautiful street.

Been here three times in the last few days for coffee, cake and lunch. The friendliness of the owners, the great coffee and the wonderful freshly cooked food, (not to mention the luscious chocolate brownies!) is superb. Can highly recommend.

We were really in need of a restful getaway and Dios Esta Bien could not have been better. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble and great advice on what to do in the area. Just like a home from home thanks to Xavier & Miia our hosts.

Stayed one night on way from Seville to Collioure, France.
Hotel is quaint, owners are very nice. Location is amazing and one of a kind, in the old part of Peniscola, at the base of the castle. Views are spectacular both up and down the coast.
Hotel room was very good size. Towels were too old and crunchy. Mattress was very old and soft so had a sore back the next day.
Note: You CANNOT drive to the hotel due to the location. You must park at the base of the old town, pack an overnight bag and walk straight up ten minutes to the old town. I wish I knew this ahead of time. Pulling a full size suitcase up this steep hill is possible if you are under 25, but else, a night bag or carry on suitcase is all one can manage.

Very cute place to stay. Service amazing and food too. Very close to castle. Be prepared and only bring a small bag as itā€™s a bit of a walk up to. Owners were extremely helpful. Really nice to be in the old town

Dios Esta Bien more of a B&B than a hotel. We only stayed for one night but wished we stayed more. This boutique establishment is located in the old town on top of the hill. It is away the big apartment style hotels and if you want a taste of what it is like to stay in a real Spanish place with small cobble stone streets, traditional tapas and lifestyle, then this place is for you.

The rooms were renovated but they had kept the old features, very clean and a great nightā€™s sleep.

If you are looking for some traditional Spanish food/ tapas, then you do not need to go far from you hotel. Dios Esta Bien do not do lunch or dinner however there are plenty of places only a few metres away offering everything you have been looking for with Spanish food. However in saying that once you have eaten and walked off your dinner, enjoy a drink or two at Dios Esta Bien with the owners who were more than happy to sit and talk.

And finally if you do get breakfast, the owner makes an excellent coffee with a traditional Italian coffee machine.

TIP: If you do plan to stay here you cannot drive up to Dios Esta Bien as it is in the old town which is difficult to drive around and park. Highly recommend parking below the castle and then taking your luggage with you. (Great leg work out)

If you are looking to stay on the Spanish coast in a boutique traditional establishment in the old town which still similar to the old days, and with great Spanish food, then this place is for you.

A wonderful B&B, hosted by Xavier and Mia, who couldn't do enough for their guests. Our room was fantastic, as was the location of the place, and Xavier's fantastic breakfasts made to order. And the coffee is awesome! And thanks to Mia, I had the best Chai tea I've ever tasted. The dog is the friendliest and most gentle dog I've ever come across (and boy does she like the affection from everyone!). Yes, you have to get your suitcases up the stairs (there are no lifts), but this place is worth it. The views from the rooftop terrace are wonderful. And the view over Peniscola from the top of the castle are spectacular. Only a few minutes walk and you are down on the beach. Easy to find - it's less than 50 metres from the castle in the old town. Highly recommend this place.

A perfect find situated in the old town of Peniscola. Yards from the iconic castle and nestled in a warren of narrow streets this hotel offers fantastic value for money, is spotlessly clean and well presented. A wide choice of breakfasts are included and are prepared to order every morning and the choices of coffees available at breakfast and throughout the day are amazing. Friendly and helpful owners Xavier and Miaa were fantastic hosts. Highly recommended.

I travelled to Dios EstĆ” Bien for the second time in July 2019. I had been there in 2017 for a week with my girlfriend and my previous vacation there was probably one of the most memorable I have had and I just couldn't wait to go back again - this time as part of a larger group.

I'm not sure if a couple of hours went by whilst there where someone didn't comment on how amazing Dios EstĆ” Bien is, and specifically praising its biggest asset, namely Xavier, Miia and Maria.

The building itself is simply stunning, something which is a testament to the hard work of the previous owner and also the impeccable upkeep of the current inhabitants. Once you manage to overcome the fact that you're going to stay in this incredible building, you then enter your rooms, which are clean, stylish and also have really great air conditioning, which is just a necessity.

Breakfast is amazing. The smell of Tornado Coffee and the running to and from the coffee machines energise you before you even taste it. A full selection menu of breakfasts full of whatever you could want, and plenty of it. The constant offer of something and also never feeling like you need to get more - it's almost like being at home, having everything you want (even great olives) and getting to choose when you want it at your own leisure.

One of the members of our group was celebrating an important birthday. As part of an agreement, Dios EstĆ” Bien put on a barbecue evening on the roof for us. This was an incredible evening, filled with amazing food, great drinks and just the most respectful and engaged hosting. Get in contact with them about this if you want an evening/night you won't forget.

If you're on the fence between a holiday in a resort with a pool and all those seeming luxuries and doing something a bit different, then book Dios EstĆ” Bien, there is no way you can't love it and say hi from me :-)
