Four friends went to spend a weekend and the Respirar hotel apartment was a top 10 option! It is very beautiful, well decorated and cozy although with little clarity. Very clean, the mattresses are very comfortable, something we value a lot. The bathroom has a jetted tub and shower. It has a mini kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and washer/dryer. It is also located in the old town. Although the best thing without a doubt has been the staff. A more than excellent deal! Special mention to Rosa, her partner, LuÃs, Andrea and Iban. Thank you for welcoming us so well! We will repeat for sure!

Perfect location and the room nice and spacious, but with a smack of totally unbearable humidity. There's a dehumidifier in the bathroom, but I assure you it doesn't do anything. The smell is nauseating. Don't take room 1 downstairs. In addition, the room was dirty: hairs in the bathroom, head and sides, and the wall of the sink, behind the tap, completely dotted with rest of dentifrice. Disgusting. And the silicone shower seals, black. It is a shame, because the hotel is flirty, but there is very little desire to keep it in condition. We're not coming back.

It has its charm, if you know how to find it... - Location: in the old town of Peñiscola, in a walled area. In that sense it is perfect. - Sea view: if you select the room with sea view, you have sea views, however the balcony overlooks the commercial street full of bars and shops, so there is no privacy since tourists see the interior of the room. room, unless you close the shutters. I recommend asking for the 2nd floor at least. Some curtains would solve the issue. - Access and Checkin/out: it is done in another hotel, at the other end of the wall and you have to walk, both to pick up and hand over keys. If you don't know and you find out there, it's not cool at all, for the 3 rooms they have, there should be a receptionist there arranging the hours. - Parking: Does not exist. You must leave the car in the blue zone no matter what and take the walk loaded with suitcases "uphill". It's 10 minutes of kicking, but it can be tough if you're very loaded. I advise going light. There is an application called Telpark that you download so you don't have to change the ticket. - Danger Blue Zone: on Mondays in the blue zone called "Centro Estudios", they have a market and the cars are taken away by the Municipal Tow Truck. There is no visible sign informing, except at the entrance to that area in microscopic writing and if you don't look, you're stupid. The fine is €120 and you have to pay first at the local police station 2 km from there and then go pick up your car at the depot, another 2 km from the station...There are NO Taxis available in summer, only 3 and they are collapsed, especially when the tow truck has taken 20 tourist cars through the market. They have a good business set up. - Kindness of the hotel staff: Excellent, yes, friendly people willing to help you with everything. - Room: very simple with Mediterranean charm, the air conditioning works wonderfully and the windows are insulated, so even being in the middle of a bar street, you don't hear anything and you can rest well. - Mattress: simple but comfortable, two adults slept well. - Pillows: good and comfortable. - Bathroom and shower: somewhat spartan. There is no place to put your toiletry bag or personal belongings, a tune-up wouldn't hurt. - Breakfast: There is no breakfast in the hotel, if you hire it you will have to walk to the other hotel or look for a bar where you can have a drink, which was our option. As a romantic getaway, taking into account the above, it is fine...it has its charm, despite the inconveniences. Will we return: No. We will recommend: Yes, to our daughters so that they go with their boyfriends, but we are over 50, we are not about to walk around with suitcases and things like that...

This is not an Inn, it is a simple house with 6 rooms. No reception, no access by car, once you arrive with the luggage, you have to check back in at another Inn. And as for breathing, we breathed air conditioning in a basement room with a window on a skylight. To avoid

I start with the only two positive things: spectacular views of the sea and a spacious room with beach decoration. Negative: there was no hot water, the hotel did not answer questions 4 days after the reservation because they were on vacation, the hotel does not have a reception but check-in must be done at another hotel located on the other side of the historic area of ​​Peñiscola , breakfast is also not where you stay but also on the other side of the historic area.
