Design Boutique hotel Mediterranean style with charm, located on the first line of PeñÃscola beach, with 2 floors and no elevator. Our hotel has 20 rooms, 10 of them with exquisite views of the sea and the castle of PeñÃscola. The building has been completely remodeled to begin the summer season of 2018. The concept with which it has been conceived focuses especially on adults, although we offer cots for children up to 2 years, included in the price of the room and can also be host children, as long as it does not exceed the capacity of a room (2 people); in this case another room must be reserved. Clients have at their disposal free Wifi Smart TV, air conditioning, magnetic keys, hair dryer, heater in the bathroom, iron, minibar and completely renovated rooms. The reception is open until 0: 00h on weekends and summer season, and until 23: 00h out of season.

We are on a car vacation in Spain and would like to have good nights and good experiences along the way. Peniscola is worth a visit, a very charming small town. Duna Hotel Boutique has a very good location right by the beach and just close to the main attraction in the city, the old castle that the Templars built and which also for a period was the residence of a pope. The room was small, but very stylishly decorated. We had what we needed (e.g. got to borrow a kettle). The service was very friendly and spoke good English. There was also free parking right outside (applies to the period from mid-September to June). That we also got a bath on the beach was a big bonus for Norwegians who are not used to such bathing temperatures in November!

Duna is a small boutique hotel, located in front of Peñiscola seaside.
You just need to cross the street in order to reach the beach.
At the small reception, Anna and Tatiana are kind and helpful.
The standard room is basic (there is more storage-space than it could appear at first sight as the bed has some drawers) but has a nice design. The mini-fridge is very appreciated.
The bathroom is good too, maybe only the design of the shower does not prevent the leak of the water (or was it my fault ? 🤠).
There are no common spaces. Corridors are narrow and pretty dark. No service breakfast offered.

Stayed in November: Perfect little Hotel, right opposite the Beach. Parking was free in the green spaces marked outside on the main road - it's free until spring. The room was chic, small and comfortable. The shower was great and the bed comfortable.
Only stayed one night and it was really good value for money. It only cost us £47 for one night. We were staying there to meet up with friends with Spanish residencia, so only needed a bed for the night. The staff had good spoken English and the Hotel was clean and fresh smelling from reed diffusers in the lobby, etc. Would stay again if we revisit Peniscola.

Location very good, room very uncomfortable no chairs or anywhere to sit in the room, the bed has a wooden frame around it so you could not sit on the edge of the bed, if you wanted to have a drink out of the mini bar there was nowhere to sit and drink it, the room has a massive double bath in it which we used once but was a big waste of space, would rather the room to be more comfortable, it was one of the luxury rooms, and to sit down and have a drink of wine we had to go to the beach. Breakfast was a 10 minute walk away to a separate restaurant. For 90 Euros per night excluding breakfast, breakfast was extra

Very good hotel with a perfect location. As you have already mentioned here, the rooms are not very large but to sleep no more is needed. Very close staff and less than 1 minute away there is a free blue zone (except Easter and summer).
The only stick I would put is that in the room that touched us, there was no blind, only a curtain so that at dawn a lot of light entered and that prevents you from being able to rest more if you are one of those who bother the light to sleep. Otherwise, ideal as it is very well soundproofed and you do not hear anything from the street. The views were unbeatable!
If we come back, we will repeat with this safe hotel!

Nice little hotel. Our room was small but very nice and well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The hotel is situated across the street from the sea and close to everything. There was really nothing wrong about this hotel so I strongly recommend it!!

Good Boutique Hotel in front of PeñÃscola Beach, with views of the sea and the castle. Recommendable.
The rooms are very clean, but a little small. It does not have breakfast service but on the same street there are a lot of bars and cafes.

My partner and I stayed here for one night and wished we could of stayed for more. The hotel is superb with beautiful decor and balcony overlooking the beach. It is situated right in front of the beach and very close to the castle which is a lot of fun to explore. There are so many beautiful cafes and restaurants with picturesque views. We will definitely be coming back to Peniscola and definitely be staying in this hotel again!
