We booked a last minute get away and wanted to be close to the old town so this hotel was ideally situated. The check in was swift and the gentleman was very helpful - he gave us several options of where to park the car with prices and locations. We parked within a 5 minute walk at a cost of 8ā‚¬ for 24 hours. (Public car park next to the south beach.). We didnā€™t spend a long time in the room, which was a little on the small side, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean with a good shower. There was a safe but we did not use it. There was no information in the room about the WIFI but we could have asked for this at reception.

I love finding little gems and this place is one of them. It is in a great location right near the beaches, bars and restaurants. Our room (a double) although small in size did the job as we were out all day. The room and bathroom were very clean. and there is maid service every day. There is parking near by. However, we parked our car in the nearby streets and it is free. This is a family run hotel and they are very friendly. Would I visit again... Yes.

My husband and I had room # 403 with large terrace. The room is small but very clean and comfortable and quiet. We decided to stay two more nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is free wi-Fi but not always working but staff try to fix the problem. We definitely recommend this hotel as it is so central and reasonably priced. Nearby parking can be a problem but there was always a free spot in a nearby place. Try to get the rooms with the big terraces - 403 has a bit of a view over the sea. If I come back to Peniscola I will choose this hotel again.

Although lacking in Services, the hotel is smack in the middle of town with Bars & Restaurants outside. The beach is a just minute's walk. In fact, The hotel wasn't in my Garmin, so I typed Peniscola in as a city name & 'you have arrived at your destination' came up right outside the Marine Hotel.
There are very few Englsh in The Resort, So a phrase book may be handy, if you don't Habla Espanol. 'Mama's Son' speaks English.

Peniscola is a fabulous seaside resort town with lots of tourists, restaurants and really beautiful beach area. Castle overlooking the sea is a key attraction. Hotel marina is a two minute walk from the beach, very convenient, super clean hotels with a good simple breakfast. Our room was a little small, but we were 3 in the room. There is short term street parking in front of the hotel, or inexpensive longer term parking only a block away. Overall a very good experience.

We had room 404 with large terrace. Sun trap heaven ! The room was/is very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free wi-Fi, and more than enough for breakfast. We check out at noon today but have extended until 2 which was no problem.
Definitely recommend this hotel as so central. Parking was a bit of a mare but due to free parking at this time of year no issues parking a short walk away from hotel. There are 2 beaches near north And south beach, would recommend south if you have small people as large beach area and shallow waters. Many restaurants nearby too.
Definitely come here again.

We moved to this hotel from a 4-stay hotel nearby, and we liked this better!!
It is a small family hotel, and the service were good.
We got a room fronting the street with sea view. The room were clean and I guess new renovated. Nice bathroom.
Close to everything; the sea, castle, restaurant area.
And the price were good.
We will recommend this hotel to other couples, no children. We will be back!

My daughter and two granddaughters joined my wife and me for a wonderful overnight stay in PeƱiscola. The manager (directora) was extremely helpful. She allowed us to check in early. The next morning she got up early to give us an excellent breakfast before the regular time. She served us homemade croissants that were light and delicious. I couldn't find my passport and thought I had left it at our previous hotel. The manager called there at no charge to us to see if it was left behind. Eventually I found it in another suitcase. The manager was even kind when I came down and confessed my error. The location is close to the beach. Parking is available nearby but requires a permit , and they do check. Permits are sold at machines located on the street.

Hola! Gracias!
