Fast service, very pleasant staff who speak French. Map in French. The food is very good, the quantities are very correct and the price of the dishes is affordable. Excellent quality/price. It's very clean.

Modest pension in the historic center of Peñiscola.
The room we stayed in was small but the four of us moved in perfectly and it was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
We also had dinner at the restaurant where everything was very good.
The lovely workers

We found what we were looking for. Its location and the care taken in everything that surrounds the accommodation and the restaurant are the fruit of good work. We have been so comfortable that we will return on more occasions. EXCELLENT place and attention. Sonia is a sweetheart and her desserts are crazy.

We booked this little treasure to be near the castle but was absolutely thrilled to be less than a minute's walk away from the grounds where the Game of Thrones was filmed.
Situated within the castle walls we were privy to glorious views of the coast and local town.
The rooms were modest and clean . The staff were super friendly. As we traveled at the beginning of February, we found it very quiet and sometimes difficult to find a good restaurant that was open. Overall a very pleasant relaxing few days.

This place is very unassuming at first...but my goodness the location is everything. Located atop the fortress you get a view on the Mediterranean from both sides. Cobblestone streets with shops and restaurants are right outside the door. The owners are the most fantastic people who help with any questions as much as they can (even with a small language barrier) I plan on staying here again, not necessarily because of the city, but because if this amazing b&b

Absolutely the best place I've ever stayed. At first I was weary because of the size of the room, the narrow roads and the bell tower, but I was all worth it. Best spot in peñiscola. Amazing views, great location, parking was easy (just down the road a bit) and Sonia was so amazing. She really wanted us to experience the town. When I left my cell phone she came running down the street to give it to me. I wish I could have stayed longer. For the price of the room you will never get anything better.

This beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of old town was an a isliye treasure. The rooms were beautiful, very comfortable, well kept and in great condition. The restaurant food was good, the location was just perfect, five minute walk from the marine walk in new town and couple minutes from the castle musuem entrance. The owner/manager Jose was a gentleman who made every effort to make our stay comfortable. Language was a little bit of a problem but he spoke just enough English to understand us and explain himself. The hotel can be accessed by a car, we drove a 7 seater mini van up to it to unload the luggage. Then went on to find a parking just a little further from the hotel in the outskirts of the castle wall.
We stayed here as a big family group of 12 and we made some awesome memories. O would definitely recommend Pension Chiki to anyone looking for a charming boutique hotel in Peniscola

This is a "Pension", but it's better than many 2 or even 3 star hotels. First of all, it's located in the old town. Second, it was only €40 for a double room (June). Third, the owner was very kind with us. Breakfast (not included in that price) started at 9.30, it was too late for us because we had to drive to Morella. He offered to start earlier for us, but we thought that if he started serving breakfast at 9.30, it was for some reason. Thank you anyway.
Basic but CLEAN rooms.
Given the location, it could be noisy in summer, who knows, but, in june, it wasn't. The church is next to the pension, but the bells start at 8 am.
We will be back here for sure if we come back to Peníscola.

The spanish love to be noisy during nights and you can hear it well in this hotel. Hence I dont recommend it to families with small kids nor to sensitive sleepers.
It is a nice little pension in the old town with easy acces down to beach. The rooms are clean but a bit out of date decoration.
The problem is that there is a lot of noise coming from the street during nights and the bar nearby plays very loud music untill 7am (I could recognise the songs even while wearing earplugs). And then from 8 am untill 10 pm the church bell bangs every half an hour next to hotel, which is annoying.
This time we stayed during a w/e with small kids. We love Peniscola and have previously accomodated by the beach near old town. Will rather do that especially during weekends.
