Spectacular Restaurant. Exquisite cuisine, especially the rice dishes, all 10. A high level of cooking is perceived in all the dishes. Excellent service. Right price. Due to the influx, reservations are essential. We repeat assiduously.

Very quiet hotel, clean and cozy, the employees are super attentive and the owner is very kind and friendly. The other owner, they are two brothers, he is the chef of the kitchen of 10, it has been a long time since he ate so well. Without a doubt, when I return to Peñiscola I already know where I'll stop

The location is excellent, very close to restaurants, shops, beaches and the castle but the room was very small, the beds uncomfortable and absolutely no view apart from an internal atrium. The floor was Sandy and it smelled of cigarettes when we arrived. . The staff weren’t that helpful and the breakfast was basic. We paid €262 for 2 nights bed and breakfast in July but on booking.com there were rooms available in August for €87 per room per night. We feel it was too pricey for the standard.

Great location in Peniscola and only a short walk down to the beach area and then on to the Castle.
The room was very clean and tidy and the staff throughout the hotel area were very helpful.
The hotel was great value for money, the cheapest on the trip to Spain.
There was a nice breakfast too.

Tio Pepe is a great place to stay in Peniscola - right in the middle of the main (but small) road. Spotlessly clean and lovely owners - it's a good thing to speak a bit of Spanish here though.
Two minutes to North Beach, which is very sandy and very long; two minutes to South Beach (smaller but near the port and entrance to Old Town). Behind the hotel is a lovely quiet spot - the river makes a lake at this point. Just over the bridge a supermarket.
You can walk very easily and effortlessly to the old town which is beautiful at all time of the day and night.
The hotel is known for its good food (only drawback here is that it lacks atmosphere - probably because you have to book and you don't anywhere else).
I would definitely go there again because of the friendliness, locality, cleanliness and price,

Went to Hotel Tio Pepe out of season,staff helpful and friendly,rooms very clean and tidy,handy to have a restaurant on site if a little expensive but quick service in the morning for coffee...overall cheap,cheerful and worth the cost ,located close to the beach and all your needs.....

We were worried when we checked in. The "triple" room barely had room for three beds. The owner/manager didn't call it a triple and didn't think it was big enough for the three of us so she gave us another room for a small additional fee (she said she had problems with Booking.com).
The rooms are small and modest, but everything is new and very clean. The restaurant is excellent. Full board included 3 large meals. There is no indoor lobby seating--except for the restaurant--but they have nice sidewalk seating. The manager is the sweetest person. It is like staying with family. This was a great deal, too, with the full board included.
The hotel seems to have about 25 rooms. The wireless worked well. They do not speak much English.

Tio Pepe is a good standard for the price. The hotel is over the owners restaurant and in the centre of the modern town, you can walk to all attractions in Peniscola from here. Because it is in the centre of town there can be lots of people around and Peniscola is lively! Breakfast is simple but enough and there are many places to eat from 20 to 200 metres away.We found it a good base to explore the Ebro delta and Castellon within a reasonable drive. The rooms are clean, tidy and well furnished for the standard of hotel.
