Detailed Reviews
We spent three nights with our two small kids and it served us perfectly.
Great location - 2 mins from North beach, 2 from Supermarket, 5 from South Beach and most restaurants.
We got a spacious family room/junior suite with balcony for ā¬375 for three nights (room 418 - believe Up to 424 and also same numbers on third floor are same and have great view of castle/old town).
Effectively two rooms with a bathroom for each which was great for sandy children.
Small fridge great for cold water and snacks (no kettle - well I am British) beds fine.
Breakfast was fine and kids liked choice of pastries, bread, bacon etc. The hot food was sometimes not hot but certainly at weekends there was a cook making fresh eggs, pancakes etc. Also churros on Sunday.
The juice and yoghurts were a bit sugary but in my experience this is Spain, not the hotel. The fact there was soy milk told me they were making an effort.
Spa was small but fine, sauna not hot enough for me but pool with bubbles great for kids.
Staff were very helpful including printing out boarding cards, lending phone charger etc and spoke good English. All in all a great hotel and would come again tomorrow!

Stayed for 3 nights. Did not eat in the restaurant of an evening as it was occupied in the main by Spanish Pensioners who get a very special price and the food quality is reflected in that price which was offered to us at only ā¬11 per head, for a hotel thatĀ“s exceeding good value but the food did not pass our muster. Breakfast was also ,limited due to the same reasons, nevertheless, we did managed toast and the fried eggs and bacon, so enough to start the day. The rooms were normal hotel rooms and ours was okay. The beds were okay too not too hard and not too soft, so possible the best hotel in Peniscola. The reception staff at this hotel were outstanding, helpful and always willing to give you advice of where to visit.

I spent 10 days on an IMSERSO trip. I only have words of gratitude. Excellent service, cleanliness, very good and varied buffet food, natural juice and always a plate of spoon, privileged location in the center and without noise. The dining room is spotless and the food is perfectly placed in transparent supports that are continually replenished. Many thanks to all the staff and management of the hotel, also to IMSERSO for what they do.

+1
The Inn is very well located not far from the center of Peniscola and near the beach without being in the crowd.
The staff is friendly and very helpful to the residents, dressed in a Pension outfit.
Parking can be useful even if it is a little expensive and places a little small because parking is paid in Peniscola.
I had asked for a Beginner Suite Sea View room and it was perfect with sunbathing on the large balcony and coffee table and chairs.
We were in full board and the buffet was really perfect: great breakfast, 2 meats and 2 fish with plancha at each meal, themed buffets (seafood, Spanish charcuterie, sushi...)
We tested the spa and it was nice except the steam room which worked intermittently (this is the only negative of our stay)
Massages were also well executed.
Bar drinks are surprisingly affordable Awards, even very good cocktails.
Finally, I recommend booking on the Pension website because it brings some advantages (reduction of 4%, wine and water at meal for the over 60, vouchers at the bar).
In short, great stay at this Pension

Myself and two friends stayed for two nights earlier this month. We were delighted with our stay and would not hesitate to return.
Check in was easy and staff were friendly. Parking cost 16 euros a day.
Our room was a triple suite. The space was outstanding with an unexpected interconnecting door which led to a second bedroom and bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms was lovely.
The two bedrooms both had tvs. There was a coffee machine and pods.
The breakfast buffet was good with a range of hot and cold options. One member of the group is gluten free and there were limited options in terms of bread products and pastries for them.
We had a free drinks token which we used in the bar/cafeteria. This is perhaps the only downside as it feels like a work place canteen with no atmosphere. This is in contrast to the restaurant/ terrace which are pleasant spaces.
The highlight of the hotel is the roof terrace and pool. We had no issues getting sunbeds and spent many happy hours on the terrace. Just make sure you apply plenty of sun lotion!! There is also a bar up here serving drinks.
Peniscola itself is a lovely place. Walking up towards the castle and discovering the streets filled with bars and restaurants was wonderful! We will certainly be returning!

I start by commenting on our experience. We booked the hotel through an agency (I don't know if it was by chance but lately when you book through agencies instead of on the hotel website they put you in rooms that are, let's say, worse, maybe it's my impression) The fact is that they gave us a room with views of the patio, where practically no light entered and to make matters worse there was an engine nearby that prevented us from falling asleep the first night. The next day in the morning we requested a room change and they told us at reception that the hotel is full and that it is not possible, that they would note it down and that we should ask the next day (at that time there were several people checking out). In the afternoon we asked again if there had been a room and the answer was that it was full and that it would be that way for a few days, that the change was noted but that they would not guarantee the change. When traveling with Viajes El Corte InglƩs I contacted them and they told me that they contacted the hotel and that they had it written down and the next day they would make the change, which they did, settling us in a room with light and without noise until our departure.
The hotel: Well located near the beach, a few minutes away and also close to the town, in my opinion an unbeatable location.
The facilities are super correct, modern and functional style, it is not the typical beach hotel.
The second spacious room with side views of the sea, very correct bathroom, very pleasant stay. Free safe.
The staff in both the cafeteria and dining room and maintenance are very friendly and efficient.
The food was good, without great frills but well prepared and with the necessary variety. As in many other hotels, they still charge you separately for the drink.
The spectacular pool on the top floor with an area in the air from where you can see the ground from the 6th floor, with a solarium area, the bar was closed. Here another problem arose because they told us that the pool had been broken for some time (when making the reservation the website or the agency's website did not indicate anything), so one day we found a sign in the elevator (it was not posted, I think it was more than a day) that announced that for "maintenance" the pool would be closed the next day. Something that really bothered us since that was one of the reasons for choosing that hotel. Of course, the solarium area and showers remained open, but it is not the same, since you choose a hotel and pay for a service that they do not give you or offer you an alternative.
A hotel that if it weren't for those problems would be highly recommended.

Central and quiet hotel, comfortable room and very good cleanliness , friendly and friendly staff. The buffet we liked, all very well presented and quality, perhaps at the beginning of the second half of September the quality dropped a little. I find the price of parking excessive and the spa did not try it, I also think they should give at least one pass per stay. Recommended hotel, to return!

I found it hard to rate this hotel as we had a really mixed experience. We have stayed in various places in PenĆscola over the last 20 years but as this time was the first without our children, we thought we would give this hotel a try.
Positives-
* The staff (all but 1) were exceptionally accommodating, helpful and polite. Reception and the pool bar in particular.
* The rooftop pool is very well run with plenty of sun loungers, music, a pool bar and lovely views of the town. We loved spending time up there. The staff were very attentive and the fruit smoothies a nice touch. Suncream was available if you need a top up.
* The location is excellent, very central.
*The dining room is to congested but the food was very good and the chefs worked incredibly hard.
Other comments:
* The rooms are quite dated. We were lucky to have a higher room with a decent view but lots of rooms did looked to just have street views.
* The shower door was quite a strange design and water could easily escape onto the floor.
* The restaurant was very busy which is fine but the food area was quite small for the amount of people dining. It became very crowded and they kept running out of things. It got very congested.
* Because of the crowds, we preferred to sit in the outdoor courtyard. One evening, we walked in (towards the end of service) and asked for a table outside as on entering, I had seen a few free. The waitress refused and said they were all taken and led us to an indoor table. I walked out and showed her a table that had just been vacated and 2 empty tables. She said the two empty tables were for bar customers (there was not one person in the bar) and we would have to sit inside. Inside was noisy and busy so we left.
*We booked a session in the spa but there was no shade at all and it was very warm so we left. I had to go back to reception and explain this as there were no staff at all in the spa-apparently it was their day off.
*The hotel bar is more like a canteen with no atmosphere at all which is a shame, especially for people who don't want to venture out. I would have expected some basic entertainment or music and more subtle lighting. We went in once to get a drink in the evening but no member of staff appeared so we left.
Overall, a lovely holiday but I would not recommend this hotel to visitors who like to sit in the hotel during the evenings.

Positive: Modern and well located hotel. Spacious room with terrace. Good mattress. Exquisite cleaning. Very friendly staff.
Negative: The breakfast buffet is terrible in variety and quality for a 4*. The most basic things are missing: serrano ham, cheese board, scrambled eggs, chorizo, etc., (without mentioning the cava and salmon so common in hotels in the area). same category). As it was, I had to request a French omelette because I was diabetic due to the lack of variety andā¦ THEY DENIED IT on the grounds that they do not make hot cuisine (so common in any hotel of the same category) And the dinner was the same.

Service in the restaurant area and at reception was very courteous and helpful. Hotel very clean, but the room cleaning staff lacked coordination. The large infinity pool on the roof was unfortunately broken. The spa area offered as a replacement was not really a good solution. Loungers and parasols on the beach can be booked directly at the hotel. Basic language skills in English or Spanish are recommended - German was no chance during our stay. The old town and the waterfront promenade are within easy walking distance. Public parking nearby.

Sorry, we did the same thing but rented a car and drove to Peniscola.
Sorry, can't help you as we did not use the pool so I don't even know where it is located. However, I would suggest that you send an email to the hotel and ask your question. At least some of the staff speak passable English and I am sure they could answer your question.
Our hotel is a peaceful place where one of the most valued aspects by our guests is the tranquillity. Kindest Regards
