The Hotel was very elegant. Service was terrible. I understand COVID-19 has restricted many services but we pay premium prices for a room and should get premium service. There was only 1 cup for coffee and only one package of coffee. I called guest services to get enough coffee for two people. They said they will bring it up right away. 1 hour later I had to call them back again to get the coffee brought up to the room. This time it only took a few minutes. The ice machine on my floor was broken so had to find a machine in a different floor. Ordered out because of the limited food offerings. I had no problem with that. There was only one chair for the table. Pretty hard to eat for 2 people with only one chair. The table was fixed to the floor so I couldn't slide it to the couch to sit down. The mattress seemed pretty well used and wasn't very comfortable. Best blackout curtains I have ever seen. I could have slept until noon and thought it was still midnight. Employees were very friendly and helpful. That was a real plus. The Starbucks servers didn't seem very friendly to elderly but we're friendly to the younger crowd. I asked for coffee, black. The girl asked me twice how I liked my coffee. I told her black. When I got back to my room the coffee had cream in it. I would give the hotel employees 5 stars but the service and room 1 star …
09/17/2021-09This was the worst experience ever. I flew from South Carolina with my family, paid over $860 dollars for 4 nights and the room was disgusting! It has piss stains all over the mattresses and the room had a horrible ODOR! The AC unit didn't work at all! I got my room changed, but it was a downgrade from the first one! I will never stay at the SHERATON AGAIN!
Took the family to Seattle for a final summer trip. We are platinum members so got to enjoy the club lounge during our stay. We were overly impressed with our front desk check-in clerk (Crystal) - she was so friendly and nice. We stay here every time we come to Seattle and they've always done a great job of upgrading us when there's availability. Thanks a bunch!
Overall a nice hotel with some questionable business practices. I don't mind hotels that close their lounge for COVID. It seems a bit odd though to do that and then immediately re-open it as a paid breakfast buffet (thus disadvantaging elite members as Sheratons don't offer an alternative when the lounge is "closed"). You can get the welcome gift amenity though. Overall, this is a very well located, clean comfortable Sheraton. The TVs dont have streaming services like Netflix, so that part felt a bit dated, but overall this hotel seemed well maintained. The hotel don't honor online checkin as they still make you re-swipe your credit card, and then they take your signature which they seem happy to cut and paste onto your bill (a questionable legal practice).
I stay at a fair number of hotels each year and I must say, this hotel not only has a fabulous location. I found my room to be clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. I was surprised that they had no parking and no hot tub though. Those might seem like small things but with a car having to pay for parking at a separate garage was a bit surprising. Also, given how chilly Seattle can get in the winter, I was surprised that there wasn't a hot tub to go soak in. I really had a lovely time and would stay at a Sheraton again
