Wonderful hotel right at Pike Place Market. You cannot beat this location. Able to reach all the sights you want to visit and experience from the Seattle Space needle to getting back to the airport on the Light Rail.
Spectacular facilities. Bell staff are great and friendly. Can't beat the location. But we stayed there for a week +, and none of the front desk staff really knew our names. There were a few exceptions, and a few friendly faces. But by and large, we felt very anonymous. Which is a shame, because it is a wonderful, intimate, hotel.
Being at the Inn at the Market is great if you're visiting the market. An interesting design, the rooms have a great layout, are supremely comfortable, and generally quiet. Some noise rises from police sirens but I suspect that's the case anywhere in downtown Seattle. I disliked the television's location over the desk - not possible to watch and sit at the desk, as I habitually do -- and the water took an excessive time to become hot. Bathroom lighting was sensational. I enjoyed the shower arrangement, too. All staff personnel were friendly, courteous, and professional. Not a sour note with anyone.
This is the best hotel in Seattle! My husband and I always stay here when we can. Location is amazing and the million dollar view never gets old!!! Can’t wait to go back. Everything you could want is within walking distance.
We had never been to Seattle before and split our five night stay between the Inn at the Market and the Edgewater Hotel. We wish we had stayed at the Inn at the Market for the entire time and definitely plan to stay here the next time we visit Seattle. There are a few reasons for this. First, location! You can't beat the location of this hotel - it is literally right at the market. The guys who throw the fish? A few hundred feet away. The Pink Door restaurant or the first Starbucks? Just around the corner. So many food choices steps away. So much is within walking distance which is also great if you just need to stop by the hotel to drop something off. Second, the rooms are great. We booked a partial water view room - we had a king bed on the eighth floor but since our daughter was with us we had a cot in the room as well. There was plenty of room to spare even with the cot, and the partial water view was great. Honestly I'm not sure I would have spent the $ on the full water view after seeing how nice the partial water view room was. Third, THAT FIFTH FLOOR DECK. Everyone writes about the deck. It's amazing and that alone is a great reason to book here. After returning to the hotel in the evening, we immediately went up to the deck and watched the sunset - they have fire pits up there too so every evening we stayed on the deck until 11pm. It can get a bit crowded right at sunset but later it thins out. We also brought breakfast up there one morning - we were the only ones on the deck at that time. All of our interactions with staff were great - there was a gentleman named Eric at the front desk who had been there for 20 years and each night had great restaurant recommendations for us. I really can't say enough good things about this hotel, if I had a friend who wanted to visit Seattle I would tell them to just book here even if it costs more and don't overthink it. You won't regret it.…
