There is a lot to like about this location. The only downside is the location. It really feels like you need a car to do anything or go anywhere. The room was awesome, 2 bedroom with 2.5 baths, each room got their own bathroom and then one half bath in the Main area. We had a group here with 3 different units so it was good when they came over or we went to another one so we didn’t have to use peoples personal bathrooms. There was 6 pools here and very rarely was anyone there when we went and if they were, it was 1 or 2 people or they were just tanning. Being in building 20 kinda sucked because you had to carry any groceries and all your stuff a long way to get to your building, wish we could drive the walk way to at least drop stuff off. Really enjoyed stay here.

The grounds were lovely and we were happy to find a covererd parking garage on site. The view from our unit was amazing: overlooking the golf course and ocean. The front office staff (Joshlen) was friendly and helpful. We were not impressed with the concierge....she only seemed like she wanted to help you if you listened to the time-share presentation (which we chose not to do). The community grills were cleaned every day. We loved eating outside on our lanai. The inside of the unit was very dated....the shelves in the dishwasher did not slide, the cabinets were scuffed, the carpet color was a bit gaudy. We could hear our neighbros walking and talking through the walls. But the king-sized beds were very comfortable and the master shower was huge, with excellent water pressure. It was nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. THe kitchen was well-stocked. We enjoyed the location....only a few minutes drive from downtown Kona.

The resort itself is villa style and very beautiful. Lots of gorgeous vegetation all around the resort. The resort is very clean and the areas well taken care of. The room was nice and spacious and had a full kitchen. There are tennis and pickle ball courts but you can only use them if you brought your own equipment which is quite crazy considering you’re on vacation.
It is definitely a place you want to get a car rental for. There is a free shuttle that you can take to the town centre from Longs Drugstore but you do have to do a 15 min walk up hill to catch it. You can’t go very far with it.
Most of the resort staff including maintenance were very friendly and nice. The front desk staff were helpful and kind. The reason for the 3 star rating was the activities rep. She was very rude and not helpful in any manner. She first refused to help us saying my moms name was not on the account. We then contacted our timeshare company and they ensured us it was. She is the only activities rep and is off on weekends. So we had to wait two days to inquire again. We went back on Monday and she refused to help us again or even allow us to go to a timeshare presentation as my dad (mom’s husband) was not present. She said my mom needed my dads permission to book anything including activities. She refused to book anything or give any information as my dad physically wasn’t here. This is the first time we have ever experienced this at any resort. She also denied me the opportunity to go to the timeshare presentation on my own being a single woman saying I didn’t qualify but couldn’t tell me why. It was a very sexist experience and really spoiled some of our trip.

PROS:
The staff is great in trying to help with any issues that arose.
Checking In/Out was quick and easy.
Beautiful, well kept grounds.
Large, bright living room space
Walking distance to a beach.

CONS:
**We were in building 2 and the underground parking is very far away. The only close available parking lot was for Check In/Out Only and is posted as such.
**A/C broke down
**Refrigerator broke down
**Furniture and appliances are outdated, interior walls/floors need repairs
**This is a townhouse style unit. Bedrooms downstairs, living upstairs. About 10-12 stairs between levels. I do not recommend this place if you have trouble with walking/stairs.

My husband and I stayed a week at this resort in a one bedroom, second floor condo. Check in was seamless and front desk staff were so kind! Our condo came equipped with a full kitchen, rice cooker, coffee pot and coffee, blender, and all necessary kitchen necessities. Many grills around the property as well and our kitchen had grilling equipment as well and a washer and dryer in unit. 6 pools to see and amazing landscaping through out. Our one bedroom had a VERY large living and dining area with a pull out couch. Although a bit outdated, it was a perfect place and comfortable for our stay. Pickle ball and tennis courts were right outside our condo but we never heard any noise from the courts as I’ve seen other reviews state. Checking out chairs, umbrellas, and coolers from the front to take on our daily beach trips was amazing and so easy! No snorkel equipment to borrow but concierge helped find a place to rent. Resort is 5 mins from a local grocery store that had everything we needed for our stay. All in all, amazing location and peaceful property! Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time at this timeshare. We have stayed at other RCI time shares on the island and compared to those this was on par or better. The units are old, but if you can get over that the stay is fabulous. Spacious units, comfy beds, superb guest services, beach chairs and umbrellas available for free, quiet setting, beautiful gardens, and all the tennis and pickleball you can stand, with lighted courts. The old part just means that the kitchens are dated, the bathrooms are small, the microwave is from the 1980s, and the furnishings are well worn. What is interesting about the layout is that there is a central parking garage and you have a bit of a walk to and from your unit, depending on which unit you get. There are golf carts that provide rides at times, but this inconvenience may put some people off. We loved it because it meant that there is zero vehicle traffic in the complex, making our stay as relaxing and quiet as could be.

We had a very nice stay at this Resort. The room was nice. A suite with a small kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with king size bed. The internet was 10mbts which is pretty slow by todays standards. Not good for streaming.

This resort is south of Kona which is an easy drive. There is a mall nearby for restaurants and groceries. Most of the beaches on the Big Island are rocky and not sandy. To the north of Kona is some sandy beaches.

We really like that we could park a rental car in an underground garage so it did not get hot.

If you love Pickleball, this is the place for you. They have converted most of their Tennis courts to Pickleball.

Beautiful. We went with our family of 6 and the space was perfect. It was townhouse style with two large master suites downstairs and a large living room/dining room/full kitchen upstairs. We were surrounded by beautiful palm trees and Hawaiian plants. Kids had a blast in the pool that was right behind our room. Every evening we watched the picturesque sunset via the shoreline access next to the entrance to the Outrigger which is located next door-5 minute stroll. If you walk past the Outrigger about a half a block you’ll reach Keauhou Beach Park where you’ll find a small park and beach where you can find locals swimming and jumping off the short wall into the harbor, volleyball net, and a canoe club. Kahulu’u Bay is a short 5 minute drive north and you get some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii with a rental shop, Kahulu’u Bay Surf and Sea, for snorkel gear and anything else you need for a day at the beach right across the street from the bay. I gotta say this was the perfect location for an unforgettable trip to Kona.

We had a two bedroom condo which is what we needed for our group of 5. The condo itself was outdated, but it appeared they were in the midst of construction. The area is very quite, and there is a nice bluff, Kualanui Point that you can walk to from the hotel, along with the bay below. There are a ton of pools, so you'll end up with a pool to yourself most of the time.

It is a drive to the Kailua-Kona area which where most restaurants and shops are located. Nearby is a KTA grocery store, pizza restaurant, and Tavern. Being a drive away from those areas means this area is pretty quite. You'll sleep well!

Also, having a kitchen and the ability to wash your clothes in Hawaii is nice. We looked at booking hotel rooms, but are glad we went the Condo route.

we traded via RCI, having never been to Hawaii. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as amenities, location, unit size, etc. I was not disappointed with any ofc those. They wee unable to give me an ADA room but did give me first floor and a shower chair, which was great. The bed was a little soft, but adequate. The unit was freshly redone, kitchen functional, lanai was nice. The parking garage was good to have and a car is absolutely necessary. The location is convenient to a grocery, farmers market, restaurants and attractions. They had a welcome reception on Tuesday with good mai tais and student island dancers, all very entertaining and no pressure sales pitches. Far enough away from the beach chaos but close enough to walk there if you want to/are able.

Plenty to do on the Big Island. You can walk to one of the Manta Ray trip sites just down the hill from Wyndam Mauna Loa Village. It sounds a bit scary, but actually pretty tame and the manta rays are just a five minute slow boat ride from the harbor. A day trip to another island would be expensive ($75 to $100) each way per person and going to and from airport, waiting, flight times, etc. will cut into your time for sightseeing = Sort of humbug!
