Hotel grounds are fine. The Hotel itself is dated. The paint was peeling off the balcony ceiling. I ordered a "Blue Hawaiian" drink for my wife while at the pool. "Sorry, we can't serve frozen drinks, we don't have a working blender." Really? At a big resort? There's a Target…
Property is located on a stunning, scenic bay complete with manta rays! Room was clean, easily accessible to meeting rooms. The Club breakfasts and happy hours for Premier members were amazing. Room service was superb. Attendants were most accommodating and friendly. A…
Old hotel, poor staff, food awful, service terrible. But the most disgusting aspect was that a fellow travel saw a roach on the wall in the breakfast room near the toaster. No excuse for this. Do not stay here. Hotel needs to be torn down. GROSS!!!
Stayed at the Sheraton for our first 4 days on the Big Island. Rooms were clean, ground were nicely groomed and food was good too. Although we only had a partial ocean view and of the bay it was still a great spot to enjoy our first coffee of the day or our last beverage at…
We recently stayed here and really enjoyed the location, with many great places to explore a walk or short drive away. The hotel itself is large and a little bit dated but clean with nice grounds, big rooms and a great staff.
"High floor with ocean view is the best. All rooms are quiet."
"There is no good room No hot water Room dated and dirty"
"Water view rooms cost more but are very nice"
"Avoid the areas of high traffic with concrete floor, rolling bags are loud as they pass your room. Doors heavy wood and slam loud."
