Awesome 😎 staycation for our sons 15th birthday. Rental was a 2/2, pull out sofa bed, w/d, A/C, full kitchen, balcony view to the daily sunset and chill to watch the surf. Perfect location to grocery store, fishing, biking, etc. You won’t be disappointed. Our sons & nephews were out and about everyday of our 3 nights stay. Can’t wait to do it again. Property offers only one parking per unit, access to dumpster, clean grounds, propane barbecue grill with seating area and clear view to the neighboring church at the water front and Kū‘emanu Heiau. We will definitely be back. Did I mention this place accommodated nine of us comfortably. Mahalo Bob & Trish for this experience and being so kind & welcoming. ❤️👌🏽☀️😎

What a pleasure to stay at the Kona Seaspray on my first visit to the Big Island. The central location between everything we wanted to do, the great porch for early morning Kona Coffee, sunset and whale watching from the pool area, a short walk to snorkeling and surfing, and clean and comfortable indoor accommodations, made our stay so relaxing, as any Hawaiian vacation should be. Only downside is the proximity to the main road, which you will overlook.

Our family has stayed for 3-4 weeks in January at the Kona Seaspray for over 15 years. It is a wonderful location with ocean views throughout the grounds. From some of the units and pool area you can lounge and watch the surfers and paddle boarders, whales, etc. Walk a short distance and rent to do the same. Kahaluu Bay is a place to snorkel but please observe proper beach and reef etiquette. The owner is usually on site and communicates with quick response. The Seaspray is the perfect family destination.

We had a wonderful time at the Kona Seaspray and stayed in #302. Awesome view of the ocean and short walk to Kahalu'u Beach which has good snorkeling. The unit was clean, comfortable, with re-modeled bathrooms and kitchen. It was great! Bob is responsive, helpful and laid back. We would return. Be sure to check out the "Two Step" snorkeling spot by Place of Refuge, about 12 miles away. It is truly awesome and during low surf (it was 1-2 ft. the days we went) easy to get in and out of the water.

We're back again for a return vacation at the Kona Seaspray! The location is perfect for us, directly across the street from Kahaluu Beach Park, and just a few steps from surfing, paddle boarding, and an ocean aquarium full of colorful fish. We often see turtles, dolphins, and whales too. Our favorite unit is #3, which is very well kept and newly renovated. Sunsets here are spectacular! Keauhou Shopping Center is nearby for groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Other close dining favorites are Magics, Da Poke Shack, and Rays by the Bay. The main town of Kailua-Kona is less than 10 minutes up Alii Drive. We love it here!

Of all the lodging options The Big Island has to offer, this one has them all beat! 🌺From the moment we arrived at The Seaspray, we knew we'd made the right decision in choosing this lovely, unassuming locale over the chaos and commercialization of the resorts. For starters, Bob was an absolutely phenomenal host. He and his staff were more like friends and family than anything else and truly went above and beyond to see that my hubby and I would want for nothing on our belated honeymoon. We were afforded all of the amenities we needed, and then some that resorts just can't hold a candle to... Like being made to really feel at home in paradise. Not to mention getting to experience the island through the eyes of a local. No overstuffed tour busses or made in China knockoffs. This is a beautifully, charming, subtle yet totally upscale accommodation that's all class. From the breathtaking sunset views enjoyed while indulging in fantastic "pupus" (Hawaiian appetizers), to the serenity of the calm morning ocean while sipping 100% Kona Coffee, we were spoiled and pampered beyond our wildest expectations. Many Mahalos to Bob and everyone at the Seaspray for making memories Nicholas and I will treasure for a lifetime. We will most definitely be back sooner than later. Made jumping through all the Covid-19 travel hoops TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! 💖💝💕

This place over delivers. The finish work is immaculate and the attention to detail is refreshing. Bob is also a great host, he gave a great explanation of the space and how to operate everything, made himself available to us, and treated us in a way that we felt as though we knew him for years. Moreover, it’s right across the street from an awesome snorkeling bay. It’s only 15 min from downtown which is nice because the tourism traffic is not as congested. The grocery store is also right up the hill a mile away. I highly recommend you secure his condo for your stay, you will love the open floor plan and pocket doors that lead to the spectacular open view of the cove. Enjoy!!

During this pandemic It was a challenge finding a reasonable deal for my family and I to vacation. We stumbled across an extremely affordable 2 units for my large Ohana to enjoy. Beautifully decorated, fully furnished living room with large couches and a flat screen TV. Full size kitchen with all the appliances you need to cook a full meal. Two bedrooms and two full size baths. Our unit was provided all the amenities you need, flat screen TV, and WIFI. A balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean surf across the street. It was a blessing to have a complete remarkable view of the sunset. My children loved that they could catch some surf just walking distance away from Seaspray. I felt a relief there was a lifeguard on duty. The pool is also a stunning lounge area with an outside shower, BBQ grill and plenty of lounge chairs for tanning 😊. My family and I will be back.

Beautiful views. We watched the sunset every night from our balcony. This is a great location right across the street from Kahaluu Bay which has surf and snorkeling. There is a pool area perfect for barbecues as well. We would definitely come back!

Kona Sea Spray has been our place to stay for at least 18 yrs. The location, across from Kahalu'u Bay, the view, great accommodations is all part of why we come back. The onsite manager always meets our needs, and often goes beyond, making sure our visit is special. The sunsets from here are wonderful!

We used the website konaseaspray. com / sections / unit and the owner e-mailed me back. We stayed in unit 303. The owners don't live there, but they take care of the bookings. Bob manages their unit and is the person to help you once you are there. Bob also owns the house next door and some of the units at the Seaspray.
