The pictures speak for themselves. Some may say they are not too bad, all of these were from the bathroom. The toilet was horrendous. I did not see it until my last day there. This hotel need a major overhaul and update. The one good thing I can say, the bed were comfy and…
Our room was nice, but we were right next to the elevator. We asked for them to move us and they happily did without even a question. Location is fabulous and staff was spot on with suggestions of where to go. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed at the St. James for 4 nights. It was quiet - (far enough away from Bourbon St but close enough to walk there) & had that old NOLA charm. No breakfast dining area, but coffee, croissants & juice are delivered to your room each morning. Employees were pleasant &…
Spent five nights in this great hotel a short walk from the French Quarter. Close but far enough from the noise and crowd. Lobby and room were lovely with high ceilings and marble. Room was quiet although we happened to be across from a very noisy vending/ice machine and…
Horrible check-in . We arrived in the night for flight delay, we were very tired and we have to wait quite 1 Hour to check-in and have the room because they have "an informatic problem", but the guys who arrived immediately before us had fast check-in.
"Room 116: loud, unsealed door threshold + lots of passerby--but nice eve-level view of the courtyard, if that doesn't bother you!"
"Talk to the front desk staff person before you come and inform them what your room preferences are."
"320 it’s a suite with a sofa bed"
"Order the coffee and breakfast. It's a treat delivered to your door."
"Ask for rooms in the original building, not in the annex."
