Step out of the hotel's front door and walk out to the car stop, which is located just in front of the hotel. The French Quarter and Downtown are only minutes away via the streetcar, which drops you off at Canal and Bourbon Street! The location is great but the property hasn’t been maintained well. When I checked out I gave the front desk a list of items that needed attention. She told me they just took over as new ownership last month and work had begun to maintain the property. Most where every day/bt

The location of the Inn is just right. The streetcar is just in front and takes you to any place you want to visit within 10 minutes or so. The staff (Brandy and Edwin) at the front desk were helpful with info about the Inn and house keeping pleasant and quick to meet provide

Hotel was very aesthetically pleasing but the rooms were less than desirable. The staff was friendly and accommodative, but the room we stayed in was like living in a closet. The room was cold and the shower did not hold hot water for more than 4 minutes. Asked to be moved

I had an excellent time! See about the bed in room 17 as it might be broken though. Loved the staff and set up. The location was perfect. Some mold on the lamp and stain on towel but overall great stay!

Dirty rooms, stained towels and sheets - best part was that we had three beds but no house keeping. Location was across from the train tracks no the best area for safety. Ran out of toilet paper one day and there was no one to replace it. That pretty much sums it up.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate all guests feedback and for bringing any concerns to our attention. We apologize for the less than pleasant experience. Your description is not who we are and we will be sure that each of your concerns are addressed immediately, please know that the there isn't a train track near our property there is a Historic Streetcar line that runs directly by the front of the property that's a popular tourist attraction all our guest rave about. The neighborhood where the property is located is in the lower garden district on an exclusive Avenue which is one of the safest areas of New Orleans and is loved by all of our guests and locals. We hope that you will you return for another visit with us in our unique city. Best regards, Brandy K.

Is it a Safe location?
Yes, very safe. I travel alone and I have never felt uneasy I've stayed here on three of my trips to NOLA. The streetcar stop is right out the front door. There are nice restaurants within walking distance. The Blind Pelican is 1 1/2 blocks away. Great local place with a fantastic oyster happy hour. VooDoo BBQ is next store. The Irish House is across the street. You are just one block from Prytania Street and a few blocks from Magazine Street. It's easy to enjoy the Garden District. As in any large city, be aware of you surroundings. Stay and enjoy.
