My room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. The price was what I wanted to pay. This motel is in decline as was obvious in the daylight. There are lots of cosmetic maintenance issues. There is an issue with the ground-level room I occupied. The floors had a light sheet of water on them. The bathroom exceeded a light-sheet several times. I used a towel to dry the floors twice. I had to wear my shoes if I got out of the bed. I reported this to the employee when I checked out. She told me that the room needed to be 68 degrees to keep this from happening. That is way too cold for me to be comfortable. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and that could contribute to the moisture problem. There is no light over the mirror in the bathroom and I had a little difficulty shaving. There were a lot of children in the motel with their families because this motel is very close to the amusment park. I would not stay at this motel again only because of the floor sweating.

Hotel's Favourite
This is the second time I have stayed at this location, staff was great, room was nice, clean and will taken care of. Hiten greated me at check in, and was very helpful. He also took care of myself & family on our first visit abouut 2 years ago. He was also at front desk when we checked out, asked about our stay. I enjoy this location & will be going back in a few months for a longer stay. Room cleaning staff really enjoyed my 2 pugs.

We stayed in the Red Roof Inn located in Hot Springs, Arkansas on 4/8/2021 - 4/12/2021 based on the beautiful pictures provided of a nice, clean property. This was 100% a bait and switch. When we arrived, the dilapidated parking lot was the first clue. Trash piled around the side of the property and groups of people apparently living in the property on at least a semi-permanent basis. The room was dirty, you could literally feel the dirt on your feet on the floor. My wife had to take a towel, get it damp and drag it with her feet to somewhat clean the floor. The bathroom has black mold along the ceiling and in the tiles, rusted door hinges with rust on the surrounding walls apparently for years, evidence that cleaning is far from thorough. The information said "renovation notice" but when you click on that, it just mentions a limited menu due to Covid. However, the entire section behind where our room was is boarded up, vacant and from the looks of it, it has been for years. The rooms are being used for storage. There are sections of damaged roof and an old deteriorating sign just lying on the back part of the property. There is an area open to the elements along the roofline where metal covering has been removed and the interior of the roof left open for vermin and the elements to enter. This property has to violate so many codes it is not even funny. The pool was completely dug up with green algae filled water breeding mosquitos (which were everywhere) and the room next to ours was being used for chemical and paint storage. We would have left and demanded our money back but it was Derby Weekend and we could not find another room for our trip.

I've stayed at the RRI/Hot Springs before. I paid about 200.00, after tax, for 2 nights. I felt the price was okay for the hotel itself. I called to book 2 rooms for 2 nights, and I confirmed TWICE that my quote was 391.00 for 2 rooms for 2 nights, TOTAL. My brother in law were just going to split the cost down the middle. So, we were looking at a little over 200.00 after taxes, each. When we arrived, my card was charged 395.00, and my brother in law was charged 309.00. I explained to the front desk that we were supposed to split 391, and I also explained that he charged my card 86 more dollars than my brother in law. The front desk agent was not helpful, nor was he pleasant. He told me I could see the manager in the morning. So, the next morning, I go to resolve the problem and the manager isn't there. Long story short, the woman who quoted me the day of booking admitted that she made a mistake and told me the final cost for 2 rooms for 2 nights would be 391.00 total. The manager still refused a refund. He just told us we could leave if we didn't like it. I emailed RRI. I quickly got a response. The location manager finally offered us a 25% discount. I agreed to that IF he lowered my cost to 309 like my brother in law, and then took the 25% off of that. He didn't. He only gave me 25% off the 395.00. It is what it is, but....if a customer/guest is given a quote, they should be charged that quote. I was charged 197.50 per night. When the manager showed me their records, I saw where the other guests were charged 50 ish, 70 ish per night. So why were we charged 200 a night????? The manager shold've given us the rooms for 391.00 total. I might point out, the pool was torn apart, the room was dusty, hair in the shower drain, no toilet paper, and 1 towel. As someone who frequently visits Hot Springs, I will NEVER stay here again. Besides, the manager told us we didn't need to come back anyway. Okay!
