Pemuteran is my favorite place in Bali and this resort is a perfect place to stay if you like a quiet place with friendly staff. but still, be close enough to the town area. there is great snorkeling, diving, and hiking here. When we stayed here we were the only guests yet the seamed fully staffed and eager to make our stay as plesant as possible.
Beautiful resort. The gardens were lush and well maintained, unfortunately can’t say the same about the pool. There was black algae on the sides and floaties. The pool guy actually needs to get into the pool and give it a good scrub (then probably an empty and refill). Despite this though we still swam in it with our baby. We had no problems with noise, the staff were friendly and the cocktails at the swim up bar were well priced, strong and tasty. The rooms and bathrooms were well presented and clean. There were a few mozzies, but they provided mozzie nets over the beds. There seemed to be more mozzies in northern Bali so not a complaint about the hotel as such. We would visit again for sure - just crossing our fingers that the pool has been given a good clean
Nice looking hotel and pool area, and the room was nice and clean. Sadly, that's where it ended for us, and we left the hotel more tired than we were when we arrived. We arrived late one afternoon after driving accross Bali and having several excursions on the way. We were pretty tired, so we really just wanted some dinner and to go to bed early. We thought we could try some chiken-dishes for dinner, but due to Ramadan they were all out of chicken so we had to pick something else. Went to bed early, and thats when the noise started. Wery loud music, with lots of feedback from the mic that made it unbareble to listen to. After not beeing able to sleep for about an hour we went to the reception to find out what the h*** was going on. Turned out there was a wedding next door. I don't mind weddings, and people should have a good time, but it would have been nice to get a "warning" from the hotel staff when we arrived so we could have been prepared for all the noise. We got promises that the music would stop at 11 pm, and it did. For about half an hour, before it started again. I think they kept it going until around 1 am. And when the music finally stopped, the rooster next door started crowing and he kept it going both night and day for all the time we were there. The next day we asked if we could change rooms to get a bit further away from the rooster, but according to the receptionist that was not possible since the hotel was fully booked (it wasn't, but I'll come back to that). We spent the next day by the pool, and we could still hear the rooster. Also the hotel is right next to the main road through Pemuteran, so we found the traffic-noise a bit annoying. Every day we got two small bottles of water in our room. We asked in the reception if we could buy som more water from them. That was also not possible, but we were told we could walk along the highly trafficed road for about 10 min to get to the nearest grocery store. Breakfast-buffet the first day was not much to brag about... Breakfast the next day was a la carte, explanation: there were so few guests at the hotel that they didn't bother with making a buffet. Fair enough, the a la carte was much better that the buffet anyway. But that clearly means that the staff lied to us just so they did not have to move us to another room when we asked after our first night. I'm sorry, but I can not recommend this hotel…
I have been stay 2 night in this hotel. The staff was very nice, greet attitude, very kind, and that is so nice for me. Reccomend hotel in north west Bali. We will come and stay on next vacation in north west bali
We stayed 5 days with our 5 months old baby and had an amazing time. So peaceful but what made it so good was the friendly staff especially Budi! They took care of our little girl and met all of our request such as brining food and beverages were ever and whenever we wanted, got us a good driver to go to Amed at 4am and prepare breakfast for the trip. The pool water is coming from a mountain spring at it makes the water great for kids. And then it’s a big pool with a pool bar. The restaurant made great Indonesia food and the spa gave us a good massage. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a bit of peace in their minds and wants to meet friendly Balinese people.
